Product Overview

The comprehensive technical performance and economic indicator of PP-R are much better than galvanized pipe, UPVC pipe, polyethylene-aluminum compound pipe, PE-X (cross-linked polyethylene) and polybutylene pipe etc. For this reason PP-R is the leading products and widely used for feed-water piping in developed countries in Europe and America.

Nowadays PPR pipes win more attention and have been used all over the whole world more widely with its excellent sanitization performance, high heat resistance, compression resistance, corrosion resistance, pliability and seismic performance which make PP-R the real environmental friendly pipe.

Applications of PPR Pipe (white, gray):

1) Cold and hot water supply systems for civil and industrial constructions, e.g. in residential buildings, hospitals, hotels, school and office buildings, ship building

2) Drinking water systems and food industry pipe works

Q:I want to connect some aquarium tubing to a regular plastic bottle, somewhere on the side, low down. It has to be a water and air tight connection and the bottle will contain water that will be drank so if any apoxies are used they have to be safe. How would you do it?
Go to the hardware store, get a brass reducing bushing, one that your hose will fit into, get some o-rings, and a flare fitting, one that your hose will fit in, and try this. Push your hose up through the plastic bottle put the brass reducing bushing on it then pull it through the hole in the bottle, put the ring inside the bottle between the reducing bushing and the bottle, then screw your flare fitting on the bushing, and it should hold and be water tight.
Q:Hi, my bike wheel used to have a plastic liner to protect the inner tube from the spoke nuts, which has since been lost, are these replaceable, or will the inner tube be fine without one? Thanks.
As MR says, you've got to have a rim strip. Without one, air pressure will force the inner tube against the spoke heads and the sharp edges of the rim and it'll pop. Your local bike shop with have rim strip tape that'll do the trick. In a pinch, you can also use a strong fiber reinforced tape for a rim strip. In the past, I've used strapping tape. This is the clear plastic tape reinforced with fiberglass filaments. You can also use a cloth type tape like gaffers tape. Duct tape would even do the job, but would be likely to leave lots of gunk on the inside of your rim and it would be a pain to tear a long narrow strip like you'd need for your rim. Hope this helps.
Q:Are plastic tubes resistant to abrasion or scratching?
Plastic tubes, depending on the type of plastic used, can vary in their resistance to abrasion and scratching. Some plastics like polyethylene or PVC can have good resistance to abrasion, making them suitable for applications that involve contact with rough surfaces. However, other plastics may be more susceptible to scratching or abrasion, especially when exposed to sharp or abrasive objects. Therefore, it is important to consider the specific type of plastic used when determining its resistance to abrasion or scratching.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for waste management systems?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for waste management systems. Plastic tubes are commonly used in various waste management applications such as drainage systems, sewer lines, and even for transporting waste materials in industries. Plastic tubes are durable, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for handling different types of waste and ensuring efficient waste management.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for chemical dispensing?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for chemical dispensing. Plastic tubes made from chemically resistant materials, such as polypropylene or polyethylene, are commonly used for dispensing various types of chemicals in laboratory and industrial settings. These tubes are designed to withstand the corrosive nature of many chemicals and ensure safe and accurate dispensing.
Q:How are plastic tubes affected by temperature changes?
Plastic tubes can be affected by temperature changes in different ways. Extreme heat can cause them to expand, potentially leading to changes in shape or size. On the other hand, extreme cold can cause the tubes to contract, which may also affect their dimensions. Additionally, fluctuating temperatures can lead to the degradation or weakening of the plastic material over time. Therefore, it is important to choose a plastic material that can withstand the specific temperature range it will be exposed to in order to minimize any adverse effects.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for insulation purposes?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for insulation purposes. They can help prevent heat transfer and provide thermal protection in various applications, such as HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical wiring. Plastic tubes with proper insulation properties can effectively reduce energy loss and enhance overall efficiency.
Q:How do you store plastic tubes to prevent warping?
To prevent warping of plastic tubes, it is best to store them in a cool and dry environment, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Additionally, it is advisable to store them in an upright position, either by using a tube rack or by placing them vertically in a container. This ensures that the weight is evenly distributed and minimizes the risk of deformation.
Q:Which drain is more effective, plastic pipe or concrete drain?
The same effect, that is, plastic pipe easy to build a little, concrete drainage pipe construction more trouble, plastic pipe on your point, concrete drain pipe is cheaper.
Q:hi I don't really know a lot about plumbing but today my bathroom sink was clogged so I took the j looking pipe apart and when I did a plastic tube looking thing fell out from the first pipe and when I tried to put everything back together that thing wouldn't stay. help?
Go to a hardware store or a big store like WalMart and ask where the plumbing section is, then while in that aisle ask where the j-tube and other undersink plumbing parts are. It's easier to install new stuff than it is to try to fix old stuff that might be brittle. Also get some pipe dope and telfon tape. Teflon is a brand name but there are a lot of companies that make the same kind of thin PTFE tape. It's not a sticky tape.
