Q:I currently use a Nikon D5100 but am soon upgrading to the D600. I want to be able to use several speed lights. I know I will need a transmitter, but not sure what else and how they go together.
I agree with DeepBlue. I use a bunch of YN460's with some cheap radio triggers, You'll also want some lightstands and umbrella mounts. The transmitter will tell the flashes to fire when you press the shutter release. Remember not to set your shutter speed higher than your flash synch speed (usually around 1/200th max) or you'll end up with a large black band.
Q:3 days ago my check engine light came on, so I took it to a shop and had them scan for codes. Came up with the old loose gas cap code. The cap was neither loose nor old (I actually had just had it replaced a few months ago), but I replaced it anyways. The light stayed on, and the mechanic told me they‘re no longer allowed to reset the check engine light for that specific error code. New federal law, apparently. I thought that was pretty weird, but anyhow, the light went off this morning on my way to work. I don‘t know what this indicates, as I‘ve always had the system reset by the mechanic once it‘s fixed. Does it go off by itself over time if the problem has efficiently been fixed?
Nothing to worry about. What happens when a code is given and repaired with the emissions system is that the engine is required to operate for a specific number of drive cycles. This may mean a number of starts and stops and or a certain number of miles that must be traveled before the light will reset itself and the problem will have been solved. You can call the vehicle dealer and ask the parts department or service department how that works on your particular vehicle.
Q:I saw some photos from a Lumix digital camera taken in very low light (a bar). Q:The guys at auto zone said it was the gas cap. If this is true what needs to be done to make it go off?
Try removing it then placing it back into place firmly and see then if the light goes out after a bit of driving but it should go out right away if it was just a matter of the cap being slightly loose etc.Otherwise the cap's seal is gone and you need to replace the gas gap and if so you minus well by a locking gas gap bec they don't cost much maybe 10 to 20 bucks. Q:Ok so I was driving and out of nowhere my engine light comes on and when I would complete a stop on a light my car would shake. It also kinda wanted to turn off on me but it didn‘t. And when I was in a stop and then accelerated my car would take out white smoke out of the exhaust. Also when I would try to accelerate it would have trouble accelerating it didn‘t want to go. And it kinda smell like gas also.I have a chevy cavalier 1999Please answer thank you
First best answer to StPaulGuy. Guessing will not get you any closer to fixing the problem, getting the codes read will. A mechanic should do it and he should be the one to fix it. Parts stores can cost you a lot with missing the mark on diagnosing based on the codes. I disagree about the head gasket - I have never heard of a head gasket failing out of nowhere (as you described it) and the symptoms are not a good match. For a sanity check, check the coolant level. If it is way, way down it could indeed be a major problem with the engine rather than the controls. If it is not missing a lot of coolant it is not a bad head gasket causing the problems, I guarantee.

Try disconnecting the batter for 30 secs and then reconnecting and starting the car. Your ECU may have locked during system start. Also take to your local auto parts store and have them run a diagnostic on the ECU to see if any there are any trouble codes.

Because it saves on gas and electric. When a hybrid is stopped a light or tracks, the car charges. It it completely normal, and it is totally quiet when it is stopped
Q:How come the C.E.S. lits every now and then and then stops, and then lits again. I have a chevy blazer 96 if that helps. something is not right if the light is on. if the light is on take it to an autozone near you and they will scan it for free. make sure that the light is on and don't turn the car off and have them come out and scan it while it is running. chances are it is probably an oxygen sensor causing the light to go off and on. why the hell would you have to take the vehicle to the chevy dealer ? some people who answer questions here are a bunch of retards. the vehicle is an obd2 system which you don't have to be a chevy specialist to read the codes. DAMM! i think coop is right but why stop with the wires and coil ? maybe the computer is defective and the ignition switch is faulty and the crank sensor is toast and the pick-up coil in the distributor has an intermittent short but i think rather than recommending replacing any part or parts that finding out what is actually causing the light to come on in the first place would be a much more prudent idea.
