Q:How to safely lift entire car?
Jack stands (in good condition) are much stronger than you might think. Many small ones are rated at 2,000 - 3,000 pounds _each_. 6 Ton jack stands can be had for $25 each. The strength of the jack stands will not be a problem. However, the correct positioning of them is critical. You must place them under the vehicle in good contact with the vehicle's lift points. Don't over-extend the arms. Don't use a damaged jack stand. If you're going to leave the wheels on consider using drive up wheel ramps. A car can't fall off of wheel ramps, so long as your parking brake is in good working order. Finally, if you want to go really old school, you can dig a pit and park the car over the pit.
Q:do gas fork lifts produce more co2 than cars or do cars still produce more?
Does it really matter? There's no conclusive evidence to support and more to refute the mythical man-made global warming anyways.
Q:would you fall to your death in a cable car / chair lift if the cable snapped?
Absolutely. My wife has the same fear. If that cable were to snap, you would likely fall to your death. But you really shouldn't worry. There are laws which govern the design and inspection of those cars and lifts. You should feel as safe on a cable car as you would on a suspension bridge or any other type of transportation infrastructure. Accidents do happen, but you're more likely to get killed in an auto accident.

Assuming g = 9.8 m/s², the weight of the car is 19600N. A force of 19600/100 = 196N on the small piston would balance the car.

Q:How much is the four-column lift machine?
What is your job at your repair shop? Do you usually change the size and weight of the car in a range of how? Is your repair shop chained? Need to repair and replace the gearbox? Is it possible to repair the exhaust device? Do you usually need to repair the suspension? There are some other needs in the bottom of the car to carry out the maintenance work? Or do you need to do several or all of the above maintenance work at the same time?
Q:Can the hydraulic oil of the lift machine be used with automatic oil
Lifting machine is an ordinary hydraulic oil, automatic transmission oil on the temperature, cleaning capacity. Anti-shear ability, are required to be more stringent
Q:Whats the difference in car lift kits?
If you have to ask, then WHY do you need a 6 lift? The purpose of a lift kit is to give clearance for larger tires and more ground clearance. As the name implies, a body lift raises the body on the chassis with thick spacers between the body mounts and the frame. 6 is not a practical body lift. A Suspension lift pushes the wheels, axles, etc. down and raises the chassis off the ground. Again, Why do you NEED a lift? Body Lift kits make ANY vehicle more unstable and are not good practice, unless there is a CLEAR need for such a lift. Without larger diameter tires, they do not increase ground clearance. They do have the advantage of not changing the drive line angles like a suspension lift. Suspension lifts increase stress on the entire drive line. Everything wears out faster, since axles and drive shafts run at increased angles. PLUS the vehicle is more unstable, PLUS there is greater stress on the mounting points of suspension components. Like I asked, WHY? ? ? ? You are going f- up a perfectly good vehicle!
Q:About getting lifts on your car?
You can lift it very cheaply by 2 for less than $100 but that is only to remove the rake in your truck which is the 2 difference between the front suspension and rear suspension. You can inexpensively raise the body higher from the frame for a few hundred dollars which is basically removing sections of the body and putting rubber bushings between the body and its resting place on the frame. For close to $1000 you can raise the suspension and thus the lowest points of the truck by 3'. Up to 3 will allow you to install some pretty beefy tires which can give you another up to 2 of clearance. To go higher then that would require something more than $1000.
Q:My car was lifted up by a forklift - could anything have been damaged?
You could be looking at possible undercarriage damage. Maybe bent exhaust pipe/hangers. if it is rear wheel or four wheel drive, maybe driveshaft damage. Best to get it on a life and inspect it.
