Ferro Silicon is a kind of ferroalloy which is composed of ferrum and silicon. Ferro Silicon uses coke, quartz (or silica) as raw materials and is made by electric furnace. Because silicon and oxygen are easily compound into SiO2, the ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steelmaking.

Application

1. Ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steel- making.

2. Ferrosilicon also can be used as alloy elements join agent, which is widely used in low alloy steel, non-ferrous metal, bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.

3. It can be used as a reductant in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.

4. In iron industry it can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.

Q:What is the different characteristic of metals, nonmetals, and metalloids?: The metal one is more durable being able to hold more weight with out breaking. As the normal dance mat can only hold I believe 200-300lbs as the metal ones can hold up to 600. The metal one being better if you have friends that like to mess around. The metal ones can cost up to 300 dollars. But there are cheaper versions.

Q:Also death metal: Basically the differences between the genres stem from alterations in playing style, lyrics, imagery, song structure, whatever. From a very basic point of view I'd go to wikipedia and look up each genre. Wikipedia defines each genre pretty clearly in regards to the things I've mentioned. What you should do is go to youtube and type in something like best thrash metal bands and listen to what they all have in common. Eventually you replace thrash with other metal subgenres and you'll begin to pick up the differences between the genres.

Q:Name 3 properties of metals and define each.: I think people should really stop arguing about what is metal and what is not. Nu metal is a fusion genre which fuses metal, hip hop, grunge, electronic etc. and I think it should not be classified as anything except for nu metal. However, what I really dislike is that some elitists start to say that subgenres such as gothic metal or industrial metal are not metal which starts to get pretty annoying. I think people should really stop caring about that and instead just listen to the music. In the past (at least where I live) no one cared whether a band is nu metal or thrash, doom , death, black, gothic, etc. metal. All of the bands performed at the same festivals and people had lots of fun, without the whole metal vs. not metal argument. Also, I don't understand why are people so embarassed when they find out that a genre of a band is not metal. I mean, just because it's not metal, it does not automatically mean that it sucks.

So why do we have to make another pure metal from the impure metal using the pure metal plate that we already have. The answer is very simple we make impure metal plate pure in order to get more pure metal. e.g. Purification of impure copper The impure copper (anode) loses two electrons and comes off the other impurities and migrates toward cathode which must be a pure copper. There it gets two electrons back and forms a bond with the pure copper. This results in the growth of the pure copper. We will end up with a heavier and bigger pure copper than the pure copper that we once had. So bigger, better. It's a benefit I don't know if it really helped but hope it did!!!
