- I would go for a coupler on the outside of the tube, which should be stronger and won't restrict the flow. Get some 12mm ID tube from a model shop or plastic supplier. Roughen the inside of the coupler and the outside of the ends of the tube with sandpaper, apply plenty of epoxy, assemble and leave to set. You might want to improvise some kind of jig to hold the 2 tubes in-line while it sets.

I was driving down the highway the other day, and a Semi truck dropped a big chunk of ice off of it and I took a shot to my under body. When I got home I checked under neath and notice it dented my fuel filter pretty back and pinched a white plastic hose that was next to the fuel filter. I followed the line and it goes into my rear pass. wheel well. I looked in the owners manual but I can't find anything on these lines that are under there. Some are blue and some are white. Anybody know what it is? I unkinked the hose and everything seems to be running fine, I'm assuming it's some type of vent, maybe for the gas tank, but I've never seen anything like this before, and I'm kind of confused why they would run something like that under the body of a car that sits so low to begin with. I would really like to know what these lines are. Thanks!
- The white ones are usually vacuum lines. Have you tried popping your fuel door or truck with the door switches yet?

- DN, Dn said the method is wrong, the correct representation should be DN, on behalf of the nominal diameter; de represents the outer diameter of the pipe (PVC pipe, PE pipe is generally PPR or other non - metal pipe).
- Q:me and my father were trying to fix a leaf blower(the cord you have to pull will come out but won't go in) and ran into a few problems. we had to pull the whole thing apart to get to it, and along with pulling everything off we had to take off the switches that handle choke and run, and the tubes connected to this device were corroded from gas left in the leaf blower. where can i buy this tubing, and some sealant for the tubes? i DO NOT want a website that i can order them from, i want an ACTUAL store in the Dallas fort worth area.
- Any hardware store. Take a piece of the old with you and be sure to get the right size. Also make sure it is for fuel. They have other plastic tubing that is not for fuel. You shouldn't need a sealant if you get the right size tubing. If you have to run the tubing through the fuel tank as an example, cut the end of the tubing with a razor blade or sharp knife at an extreme angle to make a point at the end of the tube like you would sharpen a pencil. It will go through the hole easier and you can square it off later.
