- Q:For school next year, we are getting iPads, and I'm planning on getting a wireless bluetooth keyboard for mine. But I was wondering if, with a bunch of people in class trying to use them, if my iPad could pick up the wrong keyboard? I know that you're supposed to press a button on the bluetooth keyboard and scan for wireless devices on your iPad to make it work, but if someone else is doing it at the same time, could the iPad pick up the wrong keyboard? Could this happen, and if so, would it be better to get a wired keyboard? Thanks :)
- It is possible for the iPad to pick up the wrong keyboard, but quite unlikely. You should pair them either when everyone else has done theirs, or before the class starts. Worst case scenario, you get the wrong keyboard connected, and just disconnect it and try again. Also, there are no wired keyboards for the iPad; they are all bluetooth.
- Q:Hi guys,I have a PB 9205 media keyboard with a few extra buttons. - Depends. most keyboards use samples to create a specific tone. Those samples are actually single recordings of each note from a real piano. When you play a key, the recorded sound from the same key on the piano is played. But there is a catch! The beauty of a piano is the overtones created by the other strings ringing together. Also, when you lightly play a key on a piano, the tone is different than when you play the same key hard. It is very difficult to recreate that electronically. Some companies come close. Yamaha and Kawai do a good job. So do a few others. Also, the quality of any recreated sound is only as good as the weakest link in the chain. So if you have the most beautiful grand piano sample and play it through a 1 speaker pushed by a poor 2 watt amplifier (exaggeration), it won't be as good as if played through a professional sound system. - As far as keyboard not working problem, here is an answer to try: shut down the notebook;remove the battery for a couple of seconds and replace it. It works for me well. The keyboard locks up on mine when I turn the notebook on while in tablet mode. The cover is closed with the screen facing out. Concerning on the software, what can you do about it? Sometimes some software has replaced the default USB keyboard driver, or there are something with your windows usb device driver. In this case, try to delete all your usb keyboard from Device Manager (win+r, devmgmt.msc), and then plugin the keyboard in another usb hub, let devmgmt.msc scan for new installation. If it still does not work, you may need to repair your windows system files with a windows installation CD choose to repair install. After fingering out the preceding steps and the laptop keyboard still does not work or neither work correctly, try to contact Dell Technical Support or replace a new keyboard. Many laptop keyboard, when they get old, are experiencing the kind of problems mentioned. What you can do is buy the new keyboard and replace it with the existing one.
