- I've used other brands for my Canon dslr cameras as well but now, nearly 2-years later, I'm beginning to have problems with them. One of them has swollen some and is too tight for the battery chamber. So I've gone back to Canon. I just bought 2 new lp e5 batteries refurbished from Amazon. They are Canon batteries so we'll see how refurbished holds up.
