Q:As of right now I cannot find my camera's battery charger. As far as I know are no other batteries that can fit into the camera. This is the camera
Sorry - The only way that the battery can be charged is only by the charger itself.
Q:I have a motorola handheld radio when i put the battery in the charger it will rapid charge for 1hr then go to trickle charge how long should i leave it in the charger i have been told 2hr after rapid is done and told 12hrs the packs cost a bit so can someone please help so i dont mess them up thanks
The issue with long charge times is heat. When you charge a battery, either using a fast charger or slow charge, the power going into it reverses the chemical action to the state it needs to be in to produce electricity again. When the battery is charged, the power going into the battery simply turns to heat. If the battery gets too hot it will vent to prevent it from exploding. This venting of gases means the battery can't work as well or it might not work at all. A slow charger usually charges a battery at 1/10 or less of it's rated capacity. This is low enough that the battery can be charged indefinitely without getting too hot. When a fast charger switches to the slow mode, it's at 1/10 or less of the capacity and this won't cause any heat problems.
Q:I have a HP G61 Notebook PC, my battery icon has a little X over it and a plugand a msg appears and says to replace my battery pack however its plugged in and charging and is at 100 %. Also whenever i take out the charger, my laptop looses energy fastwhats wrong with it
if this message is coming from your laptop than immediately change your battery pack if you won't it harms your laptop system
Q:How do I perform a battery calibration with my Vaio C series laptop with Windows 7? I tried going on the BIOS, but had no idea what to do from there. I've searched a few sites, but I can't seem to do the one where I change the power scheme or the laptop, because I can't find where I could do that (I guess Windows 7 doesn't have that option).
How to calibrateTo calibrate a battery pack fully charge, fully discharge, then fully recharge the battery pack. Charging the battery packA battery pack can charge whether the notebook is off or in use, but it will charge faster when thenotebook is off.Follow these steps to charge the battery pack:Insert the battery pack into the notebook.1.Connect the notebook to an AC outlet or an optional Automobile Power Adapter/Charger. Thebattery light on the notebook turns on.2.Leave the notebook connected to external power until the battery pack is fully charged. Thebattery light on the notebook turns off.3.Discharging the battery packBefore beginning a full discharge, disable Hibernation. To disable Hibernation:Open the Power Options window:In Windows 2000, click Start , Settings , Control Panel , Performance andMaintenance , Power Options , and the Hibernate tab.In Windows XP, click Start , Control Panel , Performance and Maintenance , PowerOptions , and the Hibernate tab.1.Clear the Enable Hibernation check box.2.The notebook must remain on while the battery pack is being discharged. The battery pack can discharge whether or not the notebook is in use, but will discharge faster while the notebook is in use.If planning to leave the notebook unattended during the discharge, save work before beginningthe discharge procedure. If using the notebook occasionally during the discharge procedure and energy-saving timeouts areset, expect the following performance from the system during the discharge process:The monitor will not turn off automatically.Hard drive speed will not decrease automatically while the notebook is idle.
Q:A few weeks ago I bought a new 3DS in a bundle from Walmart, with it I recieved a Nyko battery pack and charge base for extended battery life. The first time I attached my 3DS to the charge base it worked perfectly, but I tried to charge it again last night and this morning it's still on low battery. When I put the 3DS on the charger, the red light lit up, indicating that it was charging. This morning the same light had turned green which means it is completely charged. I took it off the charger and started it up to find the battery just as low as before and when I put it back on the charger, the lights still indicate that it is fully charged. What is going on here?
Nyko has stated that their products are not fully compatible with those of Nintendo--i.e. the charging cradle. Try fully charging your 3DS by unplugging the plastic cradle, and charging the unit directly from the cable. If that doesn't work, there may be an issue with your battery or power supply.
Q:i have a rechargable battery pack but when i put it in the red light stays on for a second then goes to green and its not even charged
Xbox 360 Battery Charger
Q:I have a Wii and xbox 360. I have 4 controllers for both consoles, although not always used at the same time. Should I get the rechargeable battery packs for each controller ( a little pricey) or just some AA Energizer rechargeable batteries with the charger.
It is a tough call. You can buy the rechargeable AA cells and use them in the other devices, but have to keep track of them. The proprietary batteries will just be there
Q:I have an xbox recharger cord, battery pack, and energizer e2 recharger batteries but the batteries don't seem to be recharging! When I connect the cord, xbox, and controller to recharge the batteries, there isn't a red light to indicate that its charging and either way, it doesn't seem to be charging. If you can help, thank you very much!
you are able to choose for NiMH rechargeable batteries. Energizer have the utmost score style at 2500mAH. Durcell maximum score is 2650mAH. It stunned me as quickly as I first have been given my set of four Energizer one million.5 years in the past and it nonetheless paintings great as we talk. are not getting lithium, NiMH rechargeable final merely as lengthy and it will keep you a lot of funds in the lengthy run. by potential of ways, get the 15mins charger too, it's going to keep you time and that i see no distinctive in overall performance and battery existence utilising a great rapid charger.
Q:I have two battery packs for my 18v Dewalt drill and neither will take a charge. Is there a way to revive them so they will charge up?
I've tried using the freezing and heating method, but it did not work. Here's a method of bringing them back to life by zapping those shorted crystal dendrites away with too much current and/or voltage. You can use a welder as a power source. You could also use a car battery, a DC powersupply, or almost anything with some voltage. Make sure to wear eye protection, match negative with negative and positive with positive, and zap it for 1 - 2 seconds a couple of times and it should be good as new. I 'd hook up the negative side to the battery first. Then touch the positive to the positive side. You want to see some sparks - it is normal and not to worry. If you're not sure which is positive or negative on the battery, you can use a volt meter - use the meter also to measure the almost immediate result before and after the battery has been zapped. Repeat the process if the battery is still not holding charge, but I can assure you that you will see a big difference almost right away. The battery companies do not want us to know about it so they can continue to rip us off. Good Luck!
Q:I know that NiMH batteries self-discharge over time, but mine are discharging in just a matter of hours. I am using them in a RC airplane. They are 9.6V 650mah AAA packs. I charge them up just as they should be and they put out full power when I test them in my plane. I go to the gym for a couple hours and stop by the flying field on the way home, but when I plug the battery in the motor on the airplane immediately goes to cut-off.An interesting note: If I hold the arming button down to keep the motor going, eventually it will work itself up to putting out enough power to do some low powered flight and will last the duration over normal flight time for the airplane
The battery pack is new to you, but it could have been on the shelf in the store or a warehouse for a very long time, easily a couple of years. A single bad cell can ruin a battery pack. 1) One of the cells might have gone bad and can't hold much charge, so it depletes quickly during discharge. The available battery voltage then is 9.6 - 1.2 8.4 volts. As current flows through the bad cell the current reverse-charges the cell, and the available voltage drops to 8.4 - 1.2 7.2 volts. 2) When a motor starts it requires a high current, and this drops the voltage out of the battery due to the internal resistance of the battery. If one cell is bad then the internal resistance is very high. Once the motor is running the required current is less, so the internal resistance of the battery is less, and the battery is able to maintain an adequate voltage. Factories do not test the cells to match their discharge cycles. This can happen to any battery. Car batteries, sealed lead-acid batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, lithium batteries. extra : This is a huge problem for any large power-storage system, from solar-cell systems to hospitals and server farms. They use large battery banks to give them ride-over time until they can get their gasoline/diesel/natgas generators running. Monitoring each cell in a battery requires special electronics and in the past was not worth the trouble due to the cost. There are now electronic designs that will do this monitoring, but it's not going to be done for cheap RC battery packs.
