 Description

The application of 240MVA/345kV three-phase OLTC auto-transformer can significantly improve the economy of the UHV substation, and matches well with the transmission capacity of UHV lines, which has wide prospect of application. Because of its large capacity and large volume, the whole transportation weight with nitrogen is about 470-490 tons, and due to the restricted transport conditions, the transportation becomes the critical issue for application of the 240MVA/345kV three-phase OLTC auto-transformer. In order to make the products applicable to any UHV substation in our country, the state grid of corporation of China set the "A study of easy-transport large capacity UHV Transformer” as a key scientific research projects, and entrusted BTW to carry out the research.

During the process of research and development, BTW adopted the advanced design technology and modular design, the transformer can be transported disassembly and with advantages of compact core and winding body, less transportation weight and low transportation cost, effectively solves the need of UHV construction in the transportation restricted areas. By using the most advanced 3D magnetic field calculation software, BTW performed detailed analysis and calculation for the magnetic flux leakage and eddy current loss of the transformer coil, iron core and oil tank steel structures. Besides, by using of the advanced electric field calculation software, BTW performed detailed analysis and calculation of main longitudinal insulation, and mastered the arrangement of the main longitudinal insulation of large capacity UHV transformer and the control of distribution of winding magnetic flux leakage. All of which make the products with low loss, low noise, small volume, strong anti short circuit ability, no local overheating and other significant advantages, and guarantee the long-term safe and stable operation.

The world's first on-site assembled large capacity UHV Transformer’s right at the first time once again filled the gap in the field of UHV transformer research after Chinese transformer industry overcame the difficulty of integral transport of 240MVA/345kV auto-transformer, which marks BTW has fully occupied the world transformer industry technical peak. The successful development of the product filled the gaps in the domestic technology and met the urgent need of UHV construction application in our country, greatly improved the technical level and manufacturing ability of BTW in terms of UHV Transformer products.

Q:i took it out. on one side of the transformer i have a black and a red im hooking those up to a battery on the other side i have five wires 2 red, 2 white, and 1 blue i dont know what these do or how to get current to them. does anyone know how to complete the circuit???
You're already dead in the water trying to make a transformer work with DC power. You'll need AC, or at the very least pulsating DC.
Q:What is the M of the transformer capacity MVA?
MVA with a table of his capacity, read: trillion volts in which M with a sign The conversion unit is 1MVA = 1000KVA = 1000000VA
Q:Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with what happens if you try to run two different power supply transformers from the same AC line input. Can you do that? I have one transformer with a primary DC resistance of 28 ohms. I have a second transformer with a primary DC resistance of 265 ohms. I want to run these two transformers from the same AC power cord input. I tried connecting their primaries in series across the AC cord input, and the resulting secondary outputs from both transformers were lower than expected for a no-load condition. I am a little concerned about trying to connect the two transformer primaries in parallel.Any ideas?
Transformers don't work with DC inputs. Transformer physics require an input that changes with respect to time. That's why they work with AC. When you apply a DC input to a transformer, it looks basically like a low resistance, depending on the size and mass of the wiring. In order to provide DC as an input to this thing you have, you need a circuit to chop the DC and turn it into AC before it is input to the transformer.
Q:Every yellow vehicle we pass on the road is BUMBLEBEE!!! and big trucks are opinus PWIME! And, he is constantly singing Twansfomahs, more dan meets dah eye! LOL So, I wanted to find him something for Easter that was transformers related, but as it's Easter, and NOT Christmas, I don't want to spend a lot of money. Suggestions?
coloring books and stickers but transformers aren't really easter realated so finding things may not be easy
Q:What is the power transformer, what is the rectifier transformer
Power transformers generally refers to the power of the Department of power supply transformers, transformers in the power grid are mostly power transformers. Rectifier transformers are designed for rectifier systems. Rectifier transformer function: 1. is the appropriate voltage to supply the rectifier system, 2. It is to reduce the pollution caused by the waveform distortion caused by the rectifier system.
Q:Is the LTC transformer a regulated voltage transformer?
OLTC (on load tap changer) On-load tap-changer NLTC (no Load tap changer) No load regulator The above two switch switches are used for transformer voltage regulation.
Q:And what are the prospects for Transformers 3? I mean, should i just skip it?I forced myself to watch Transformers Twice. Didnt care for it much, either time. Barely, BARELY passable.
Hollywood EF'ed up the first one to make the second one
Q:What is the unit of the transformer?
Transformer (Transformer) is the use of electromagnetic induction principle to change the AC voltage of the device, the main components are primary coil, secondary coil and core (core). The main functions are: voltage conversion, current conversion, impedance conversion, isolation, voltage regulator (magnetic saturation transformer) and so on. According to the purpose can be divided into: power transformers and special transformers (electric furnace change, rectifier, frequency test transformer, voltage regulator, mine transformer, audio transformers, IF transformers, high-frequency transformers, impact transformers, instrument transformers, electronic transformers , Reactors, transformers, etc.). Circuit symbols commonly used as the beginning of the number. Example: T01, T201 and so on.
Q:What is the SN on the transformer? What is the difference between it and the actual power of the transformer?
The unit of apparent power SN is kVA, "Transformer's actual power" is said that active power, right? Active power PN = SN * power factor, in kW
Q:Hi there.I have purchased a Stepdown Transformer so i can use a Record Cleaning Machine I am buying from the U.S.It uses a powered suction unit to clean the record. All transformers for use with American equipment have 110v output, but i think your equipment is usually 120v.in I have been told that there is nothing to worry about as 110v out on the transformer is enough to power the equipment connected to it .Our AC output in Australia is 240v but we can use any voltage from 220 to 250. Therefore 110v should be enough.can anyone clarify and tell me it should be ok.Thanks a lot in advance.
Electrical appliances are designed to tolerate the range of voltage. Here in the USA the terms 110 and 120 are used interchangeably as are 220 and 240. Good luck mate!
