- I don't know anything about this company but when I Googled the name, the first site that comes up is Rip off report so I'd be leary. There are many scam companies out there right now who will take the money up front not do much for it. Your parents don't need to hire anyone to help modify their mortgage. It can be time-consuming because so many people are looking for modifications that the lenders are overwhelmed. - To Make Wormwood Tea: For now and until you purchase that book, you can hand pick the caterpillars and drop them into a bucket of soapy water. If you really want to make a home remedy, you can use one that is effective on caterpillars called Wormwood Tea. But please read the article in the web site source first. Wormwood Tea: 8 ounces wormwood leaves 4 pints of water 1 teaspoon castile soap Effective against: Aphids, caterpillars, flea beetles and moths. Putting dried sprigs of wormwood in the garden along side carrots and onions will mask their scent, confusing insects in particular the carrot rust fly. The dried wormwood will not have the growth inhibiting effects of the fresh herb. The Great Green Book of Garden Secrets by Jerry Baker has a slightly different recipe, but the one above is just as effective.

- Q: We are building a new home and are acting as our own contractors. We are having cabinets, granite, wood floors and tile brought in from other stores but need faucets, sinks, toilets ect.. Home Depot used to do a 10% discount card but neither them nor Lowes does this anymore. Anybody have any ideas as far as where to go to get alot of things where they might give a dicount? How is Home Deot and Lowes quality?
- I would call a plumbing supplier. Tell them you want to buy all of your fixtures and ask if they will give you a discount on buying everything for your house from them. Also, quality of fixtures is not found in the store but in the brand. Koeler is your top of the line stuff, but it is expensive! Moen is standard for faucets and has a life time guarantee. Peerless is also a good name for faucets and American Standard is a good name for your ceramic fixtures.

- Here it is: Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar plus additional for sprinkling 1 large egg 2 tablespoons finely grated peeled fresh gingerroot 2 tablespoons dark corn syrup 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly grated orange zest 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice 3 1/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 1 tablespoon ground ginger In a bowl with an electric mixer beat butter with 1 1/2 cups sugar until light and fluffy and add egg, beating until combined well. Beat in fresh gingerroot, corn syrup, zest, and orange juice. Into mixture sift remaining ingredients and beat just until combined well. Halve dough and on a sheet of wax paper form each piece into a 10-inch log. Chill logs, wrapped in wax paper, at least 1 day and up to 1 week. Preheat oven to 350°F. and lightly grease baking sheets. Cut logs into 1/4-inch-thick slices and arrange 2 inches apart on baking sheets. Lightly sprinkle cookies with additional sugar and bake in batches in middle of oven 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden. Transfer cookies to racks to cool. Makes about 80 cookies.

- We don't know where you live, so it's hard to make a recommendation. As for GMO - you can't get GMO's to plant in your home garden even if you WANTED to. They don't exist for the home gardener. (You'd have to sign a contract to do it) So no worries. If you are in late summer, and your first frost is at least 2 months way, you can plant lettuce, spinach, carrots, onions, and if you can find starts - cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower. Wait to plant garlic until it's time to plant your spring bulbs (like tulips, daffodils, crocus) in the fall. Then harvest the garlic next summer.
