Q:Will Super Glue rot plastic buttons?
Try Gorilla Glue. Read the instruction before using.
Q:Can plastic be called rubber?
no because plastic is a bit harder than rubber
Q:tell me a speech on evil of using plastic bags?
Plastic bags have long since been a staple of society. You go to the store, pile groceries into your cart, and they put them in those oh-so common plastic bags. Everywhere you go to shop they're there, and when you get home you just either keep the bags or, like most people do, throw them away. I can see plastic bags flying around outside, or on the sides of highways and such. That's called littering people! Why make such things if you're jsut going to throw them around! And if they get thrown away in a dump, there's no way taht things going to decompose for another 500-1000 years! Thats at least 3 generations that that trash will last! Not to mention the fact that we make so many, that who knows how many are already slowly decomposing. You people who at leastdont try to reuse plastic bags are evil people. You should be forced to wear a giant sign taped to your foreheads that says If your grandchildren and their children grow up in a trash heap of a planet then I'm to blame. Well, I can't do better than that. Hope it helps! Lol, not bad considering I wrote this.
Q:Is water boiled in a plastic kettle carcinogenic?
i recon it probably is, im not sure about digesting anything which is boiled in plastic, even boiled in cling film makes me para. I guess there are lots of things to make us worried, we live and we learn, but sometimes we learn too late, like with asbestos for example, think of all those poor people with asbestos roofing in India, the mining of the stuff should be banned world wide....sorry to change the subject but alot of the time the materials are cheeper and therefor dangerous. nightmare
Q:Heatproof plastics?
sophisticated issue. search at the search engines. that will could help!
Q:Soft Plastic fishing help?
well its very hard to catch flathead on plastic baits but try a blood bait or A COMMERICAL dip bait id recommend catfish charlie or wild hog
Q:Steel vs Plastic Tongue ring....?
Internally threaded jewellery, although more expensive, is normally very good quality, and you can find much smaller balls for it. But if you are still biting it once the swellings gone down, its probably not at all well placed, and you should have it repierced further back if possible. A well placed tongue piercing, shouldn't touch your teeth at all, so you don't really need to worry about it.
Q:If we were to stop using plastic bags at stores?!?!?
complicated subject. search on a search engine. it can help!
Q:The Wonders of Plastics?
1st answerer should temper his enthusiasm. Indeed plastics are generally tougher than glass and less corrodable than the cheaper metals, but only a few are biodegradable. Some types are still refused in many recycling programs. But here are a few ways they do improve our quality of life: lighter weight and thinner lenses in corrective glasses (due to lower density and higher index of refraction than glass); protective coatings; adhesives such as epoxy and superglue; high-strength structural materials (ABS, Delrin, and many others) and windows (Lexan); break-resistant containers, strong fibers like Kevlar for tough tires and bulletproof vests; many more. Improvements I could do without: adding unnecessary plastic items to paper or cardboard containers, such as a spout and cap to a milk container, or plastic impregnating containers of dry materials, so they aren't recyclable as paper.
Q:Will a plastic demijohn afect the taste?
The plastic should have no effect as long as it is food grade (which I'm sure it is if bought from a homebrew supply). I'm not sure what a safety cork is. Fermentation airlocks are cheap and work well.
