- Get 12V SLA battery, maybe 18Ah. Get a 150W inverter. Get a 2A SLA charger. All the above will come with the wire you need, and specific instructions to wire to the battery. Build or buy a frame or box to hold it all together. Simply wire the charger and inverter to the battery, the inverter with a 15A fuse, the charger with a 5A fuse. Set up the inverter and charger so they are convenient to access and use. Or, simply go buy a totable 12V power pack with inverter.

- thats a big negative, works just like cell phone chargers you can't just use any old one. Slight differences, in voltage will cause them not to work.

- It depends on which Razr. The Razr2 charger is not compatible. Some of the Razr v3 series are and others are not: V3 is V3c is V3t is V3xx is V3a is not V3e is not
- Q: I have two battery chargers in series and in float mode and load sharing enabled on both of them. They will not share the load equally so one battery charger is in constant alarm for low current. When you have two chargers in series should only one of the chargers be in load sharing?
- Off the top of my head, I'd say you can't do that. At least, maybe using two identical 12V chargers in the same mode in series to get 24V but it sounds like a bad idea. Load sharing I believe is intended for chargers in parallel, and requires an interconnect cable and support for load sharing in the design. If you have two batteries in series, you should be able to charge them independently using two possibly different models of charger, as long as the charger outputs are allowed to float and are not tied to ground.

- Try this:get new charger (you need it anyway). Remove the battery from laptop.Connect charger - charger should be able to power laptop without battery. Work just on charger for a while.If it won't burn out,then the problem is in the battery (it shorted the charger)
- Q: I have a cell phone charger that produces output of 5volts - 3 amps. I have a GPS charger that produces output of 5v - 0.5 amps. Can I interchange the chargers? Basically - what happens if the amps are too high? or too low? Will I damage the devices? Can I go one direction but not the other?Both use standard USB cables to charge from my laptop. Does anyone know what volt and amps are produced by standard USB cables for charging?Basically - each as a wall charger and a car charger. - Jeff is right. A higher amp rating is ok but a lower can burn the charger up. Make sure the voltage is the same!!
- Q: i just bought a mac laptop. It didn't come with a charger and i dont know what im looking for. if u could tell me or show me a link with the charger that would help. The battery info. is: model A1185, 10.8V, 55Wh, and doesnt contain mercury. The computer model is A1181, says Rated 16.5Vdc then has a symbol with i long line on top then three dashes underneath it,and then 3.65A Max.

- Q: I just bought an AI Universal Charger from Argos after my laptop charger broke.Im using a HP 550 notebook.My question is, Should the voltage on the universal charger be set at 19 or higher?My old HP charger states 18.5v , yet when i use this new one, it goes on and off at random.It also seems to have melted a bit of the plastic around the tip of the charger. not good!Any advice would be great, before my laptop fries!
- Hello Ema C: If your chargers tip is melting off, that doesn't mean you are setting the charger incorrectly, but the charger itself is defective. Even if you are setting it incorrectly, the charger shouldn't melt, its built to not melt. I would highly recommend you return it before it does fry your laptop. In all seriousness, a new motherboard would cost you a new laptop, and its not funny when it does come to that. I've been fixing computers and laptops for a long time and I would suggest you return the charger and get a new one. Preferably not a universal charger because they tend to have problems like these occur more than their fair share. I would also recommend you go to TopMic for your new charger. I believe you can find them on google. Every time someone comes with a charger problem, we direct them over to TopMic. You should give them a visit. Best of luck.

- Definitely the Dodge Charger!! The mini is cool but the Charger hands down!!
