- Diesel fuel will become problematic if left standing for even a few days. Get yourself an E.P.A. registered Fuel Enhancer which will: * eliminate cloud-point (no gelling to minus-40deg F.) * no separation - (Untreated diesel fuel will separate. Water will drop to the bottom of the tank while fuel floats on top. That water is sucked directly into the engine as it sits above the intake pipe.) + ensure more complete combustion thus reducing tail-pipe pollutants by 60-75% which will give you more power. The fuel enhancer should contain anti-fungal, anti-bacteria, anti-gel and antioxidant agents. With the new green additives (veggie etc.), the fuel tank will become a breeding ground for 'stuff' very quickly that will result in costly repairs. A typical treatment (see label on the bottle) is 1 OZ treats 15 gallons of fuel. (In colder temps, it typically requires 3 oz:15 gallons. Hope this helps.

- The additives in both of these gases is designed to clean your engine valves of gunk.
