Q:in home and garden, the recent answers are weeks old, and not there. they all say deleted or under review. you mean to tell me no one in 4 weeks hasposted a question in home and garden and they are all still under review?
I think you might have your filter set to Fewest Answers, which makes you see those old questions (shouldn't be happening regardless but that feature is broken). Go to Home Garden and look for the gear icon on the right side of the purple bar. In that drop-down menu, choose No Best Answer or All, and then you should see questions that were posted today. That Fewest Answers thing only seems to show old questions that have been answered or under review instead of newer questions like we would like to see. EDIT: My setting just defaulted to Fewest Answers for some reason, so I think this may be your problem.
Q:I was thinking a weekend trip to a nursery or something near springfield il or st louis but am not sure what greenhouses around here are good.
Both areas have splendid nurseries. You're a good kid+
Q:Have a new house with many plantings front and back yard. Communication with previous owner has been difficult. I would love to find a volunteer who would walk through the garden areas with me to name and label the various species there. I want to weed, but love wildflowers and such, and don't want to take out something of interest. I know I can go to my local university with plant leaves for help with identification, but with so many, it would be a long and tedious process.By the way, my geographic location is northeastern Connecticut. thank you.
call yourCounty Extension office and see if any of the Master Gardeners there would like to come over and give you a hand with this.... I know there's several at ours who would be happy to help... have some tea handy!....
Q:Does everyone has his own house and front garden or do they live in apartments like in Europe?
they are different but beautiful..just like usa..the europe is fabulous
Q:How much does a gallon of semi gloss enamel paint from home depot cost?
This is the automotive category. You may want to post your question in Home Garden to get a good response.
Q:I just recently moved into a remodeled home and am renting the house. I was told by my brother-in-law that the LANDLORD should be taking care of/responsible for the gardening issues (backyard/front yard maintenance hiring some professional people). If they fail to do so, then the landlord should take off some $$ off the rent. Is this true? In my lease agreement, she attached a piece of paper to the lease that states that I am responsible to upkeep the yards. Is this true or should I contact her and let her know that the garden isn't my responsibility? Thanks!
Challenge her to a dual or better yet,arm wrestling.
Q:for your entire city/town in your stomach?I've got to sew the button back on my favorite pair of jeans again. Every month, like clockwork. No, this does not say quot;masturbaterquot;. ;-)quot;Home Garden - Maintenance and Repairquot; was the suggested category for this question. They've finally got it right!quot;Home Garden - Do It Yourselfquot; was the second suggestion. How apropos is THAT? :-)
Yes, it is so true as I squeezed myself into jeans that normally slide on quite easily. I say we go after the ad exec. that came up with the Have a happy period slogan.
Q:How do you create a door or invite Fairies (Fae) into your garden or home?
I made a piece of work out of red and blue glass with mirrors. No single piece of glass was bigger than my little finger. Copper foil and silver solder bound them. It ended up being a twelve (or thereabout) inch globe of various colors, the colors changed as the day went along. I hung it so it would turn only 23 degrees. All the winged ones really like it.
Q:I am starting a garden this fall with berry bushes and leafy greens. I have been doing a bunch of reasearch because I have never had a garden before and some of my plants are prone to bugs and fungus. I want my garden to be as organic as possible so I don't want chemical spray. Anyone know any good homemade concoctions I can make to help? Thanks =D
Fungi are encouraged by too much water and inadequate air circulation. Allow plenty of breathing room between plants and row. Put mulch down around the plants. We use newspapers (5-6 sheets thick) and composted grass clippings. Will act as a weed barrier AND keep the moisture in the soil and will offer some protection for the plants/veggies. Feed the birds, encourage them to live in your yard with food, water and places to live. Nearly all baby birds are fed on bugs and many species eat bugs right along with the seeds. And some only eat bugs. The more birds, the better! They will do the dirty work for you! And the link below will help you deal with issues as they come up.
Q:I guess a statue of a cherub or something would work better, but I really like thai statues.
depends on the size of the statue big=ugly, small-small/medium=good
