most recent studies show that neither the UV A or B rays are filtered out as originally promoted. I have fair skin...and will never use again.

Just get a good mattress and put it on the floor. Looks cool with some cushions on it, during day time use you can just stand it up against the wall, sit on the cushions and use the mattress like a sofa back. Cheap and cheer-full and gives you more space.

Beds are beds and mattresses are separate in most cases. Some people like them soft and some like them hard and some like them medium. There are so many variables in what people desire in a mattress that no one sells a bed with one.

Q:i know pine bedding is bad, but i was wondering is aspen bedding also bad for guinea pigs?

I used pine bedding for many years and did not have any problems with it.I was careful that the cages had great ventilation and in 29 years i never had one illness that was attributed to the bedding. I have found the best bedding now though, and it is guaranteed that your guinea pig will star extra dry for 2 weeks. I put a layer of newspaper on the bottom of the cage, and put 2 of pine on top of the paper. On top f the pine i put 2 of Carefresh. Every 2 to 3 days i clean the potty spot, the rest of the cage can last up to 2 weeks with out odor or dampness.

Guinea pigs by nature are very clean animals. They need bedding to provide them with an environment near that of what is natural to them. If they are not kept in a clean home they become shame based and depressed. I found that by putting a nice layer of newspaper under the bedding it would soak up a lot to the urine in their potty spot, and it also made it easy to scope out the bedding there. You need to clean the potty spot every 2 to 3 days and the entire cage every 6 to 7 days. However by having the newspaper down it will simply roll out taking the messy bedding with it making the cage easy to wash out. Q:I'm moving and I just bought a sleigh bed. I've never had one before. Do I need to buy a bed skirt when I get my new sheets. I haven't seen any in the catalogs I've looked at. I don't have a clue about this stuff!

I have a sleigh bed and the sheet set my mother-in-law bought us had a bed skirt. I would have liked to use it, but it just didn't hang all the way to the floor. It looked sloppy. It's more personal taste, though.
