Q: are $9.00 and a bunch in between . How can anyone know which is best? What is the difference?: The only really good additive that I've come across that actually does clean the injectors well, is Red Line. It's not the most expensive or the cheapest. But, I've used it and it works. There is another one that Lucas Oil makes and that one is good too. If you do think that your injectors are extremely dirty, then nothing works as well as a good pressure cleaning. Not what you get a Jiffy Lube or from any bottle. Your mechanic would have a pressurized container that hooks to the test port on your fuel rail. He mixes a professional grade cleaner and some gasoline in it. Shuts the fuel return line and fuel pump off and pressurizes the system with the container. It works the best, but a lot technicians out there don't take the time to do it.
