- It is normal. The third brake light is only for when the brakes are applied. This gives other drivers a warning. It is also because some times it is difficult to tell the difference between running lights and brake lights if you did not see them go on. The third light on means the brakes are applied.

- The Light Bulbs have two filaments in them. One is low light and the other is high light. So the low would be your taillight and when you use the turn or brake, the high light filament will light up unless it has broken or burnt out. It is normal to only have two lights on each side as the Turn/Brake light. So you only need to replace one light bulb. the Left outside.

- Imagine the Sun and the Earth on a rubber sheet. The depression in the sheet from the Sun would be much greater than the depression in the sheet from the Earth because of the greater differences in mass. Gravity is directly proportional to the mass of great objects. Light coming from behind the Sun would tend to be pulled in towards the Sun deflecting the light slightly, altering it's path at the gravity well of the Sun caused by the immense weight of the Sun resting in the well of the rubber sheet warping the geometry. The gravity well of the Earth would deflect the light although not to the same degree as the Sun.
- Q:all the switches are off tail lights remain on
- Some vehicles are equipped with a return spring on the brake pedal that stretches or breaks with use/age. Pull up on the brake pedal and see if the lights go out. If they do A quick/temporary fix might be to install a spring/bungee cord from the brake pedal assembly to the under side of the dash be sure it doesn't obstruct foot movement and proper use of ALL pedals in the car.
