- Q:I have a ford fiesta ( MK 5 ) my tail lights work fine.. but both the brake lights do not.. however the main centre light bar in the rear windscreen does work fine
- your brake lights and signal are on same filament in bulb . turn key on and try signal lights. if they dont work ethier then you have a bad ground near frame on back of car. but mos likly is the sockes are corroded and need to be cleaned. you might just have a rare instance where both bulbs burned out . if you replace bulbs dont touch new glass with bare hands the oil from fingers traps heat and they will burn out quiker. if u need more info email me. thse cars plus the focus are famous for headlamps and tail light bub , brake, burn out. your bar in the center is led lights they never burn out.

- The maintenance light pops on as a reminder the oil and filter need to be changed. The light automatically illuminates 5,000 miles sense the previous oil change. The maintenance light has no bearing on any of your emissions performance or system parts. You'll pass your emission inspection.
- Q:I feel the amber lights in some cities are dangerously short. How long should a yellow light be?
- According to the red light camera laws they have to be 3 full seconds to qualify for the red light cameras. An independant study shows that 4 second yellow lights are the most effective in lowering accidents...the laws of three seconds for the cameras are just to get revenue. Anything over or under 4 seconds is not an effective yellow light

- Battery light and Brake light are usually independent sensors/fault indicators. Battery may need replacement, or possibly be dead due to fault in the charging system (alternator). Most auto parts store can check both for free with proper testing equipment. Since electric power is dead or very low, the PCM could be throwing other false errors. Get the battery issue resolved first and other errors might go away. If not then continue with diagnosis. Brake light, could be a burnt out brake light bulb, dirty ABS sensors, or pads/shoes worn out and needs replacement, or low brake fluid level.
- Q:when green light is shone onto plants why is less Oxygen given out and the opposite for white light? Also my results show that blue light gives out more oxygen than red light...why is that?
- green light is completed reflected as its the colour so no light for plant when kept in green so less or nil photosynthesis but when kept all colours r absorbed except green so more photo synthesis

- video okorder / I know some people who have used flood lamps at the hardwood store; however those lights always seemed textured to me and provide a poor quality of llight. The reflective dimples show up in the video. Sometimes it can make the skin look scaley. I don't recommend the flood lights.

- Q:What types of lighting is the best for HDTV viewing and where should the lights be placed?
- Best type of lighting for HDTV is of low intensity with shades (indirect lighting). The room should be barely visible with the TV switched off. That's the kind of lighting used while mastering movies too. Kind of lamp- Simple bulbs are preferred since they don't spoil the sine waves and so the sound/picture quality will not be affected. Some companies like Philips have come out with TV's that have an ambient lighting behind the TV. It's supposed to be easy for the eyes. I find it more disturbing but the black levels appear better. Set the lamps so that they don't give out any direct light and you are unable to see any light being reflected off the screen when the TV is off. My room has a low intensity lamp high up on the wall, behind the TV with a shade. I even prefer to switch it off usually. - make sure all lights work including the brake lights. if they are all operational then the lamp failure sensor is bad. This can be an expensive part and not really that necessary, as long as you check your lights on occasion.
