- Q:So i have a 20 gallon fish tank and i bought a new light for it and it came with 5 different lights 4 LED bars 2 white and 2 blue, and 4 smaller lights that are a darker blue i was told that the smaller darker lights where night lights and suppose to come on at night but what about the 2 other blue lights? am i suppose to turn those on at the same time as the 2 white lights?

- Doesn't make one iota of difference. Lights off is just more of an excuse to somewhere you're not supposed to. Usually.
- Q:do you prefer white lights, or colored and why?
- It depends on the mood and decorations that are put up. If you want peaceful and serene, you go with the white. If you want lively bright colors , go with the multi-colored. Both are good.
- Q:Can blinker lights be a different color? Is it illegal to have a different color blinker light?
- The basic reason is that sometimes people see the orange lights at night and trip out that the car is coming TOWARD them .. Drivers are conditioned that red lights mean either that they are looking at the rear of the car ahead or that they are about to get a 'special' gift from that officer in the rear view mirror. .

- The blue lights are not cameras. They are indicators that a light is red. If a cop is behind the signal light and can't see whether is is yellow or red, light, he can tell if a car ran a red light if the blue light is on when the car enters the intersection. Notice that the blue light is visible from any direction. The red light cameras are pretty small and it's not always obvious they are there. Some intersections have cameras not for red light running, but for traffic management. In the city of Orlando all camera-enforced traffic lights have a sign posted saying they are camera enforced.

- I dont think you can call some energy original energy. The universe consists of geometry, particles and fields. Particles contain energy quantities as one of their properties, which allows them to interact (force exertes a force on a particle in an electric field for example) or rather allows the particles interact. You cannot say that fields (or electromagnetic waves or indeed light) are original and particles not, or vice versa. Heat is just randomised kinetic energy within a body (infrared radiation is not really heat, but it has the wavelength to excite molecules and give them KE). Light is varying electromagnetic field of particle(s) (because these particles vibrate). Other two questions are a bit abstract. You can and you can't. There must be vibration to enduce EM waves (light) thus KE and heat. But in the case of microwave background radiation you will not feel it, cos its microwave. In the case of a diode the electrons drop to lower energy states and radiate waves at single frequency vibrating for short time. Can you call it heat? Hard to tell
