- Yes. It's called by various names - weedblocker or landscape fabric. It comes in various sized rolls. You roll it out, pin it down and then cover it with whatever mulch you have. You have to make sure you cover it - it doesn't block sunlight. I didn't and the weeds grew _under_ it and started pushing it up. Good luck
