Q: can you rent a hotel room and ask or have the bed removed leaving an open space where the bed was
Yes you could with several strings attached. Firstly there well may be some additional charges that would apply to the regular rates. When hotels rent out rooms the rates are based on the amount of untilities that the person[s] would use and expected amount of housekeeping required to clean the room etc... nowhere in the rates hotels charge is moving furniture in and out of a unit and having to tear it down prior to your arrival and rebiuld it from bedfame up after. So for the special request [over and above the expected] you may be changed a nominal fee. Secondly there may be a bit of awkwardness on both sides. Hotels don't really care what people do in their rooms as long as other rooms [the hotels business] are uneffected so no bed is no biggie... but why? You're obviously not going to be sleeping so if awake all night are you going to be a pain the the butt to night-time staff and guests. Hotel's are used to all sorts of obscure requests, but given a hotel's function and the whole point of their business is to lodge guests [as per The Inkeepers Act] it is their business to stick their nose in - so they know who is under their roof, a liability thing and yeah someone asking for no bed would make me go hmmmm. I'm not saying it's not legit, I'm just saying I'm obligated to ask why [and if you want the room you'd have to answer or I'd just pass] Just tell them you're using the room for a photo shoot, getting rid of the bed and putting a background against the wall... or having a work or social group meeting, it's just a few people who a hotel perfect size, don't need a conference room as its just 4-6 people so clearing out the bed would be awesome... Taking the bed out isn't a huge deal, but they'd want to know why [because of the impression you'll be up all night and fear you'll be loud or lots of people coming and going....]
Q: If you sit something with bed bugs in it outside would the bed bugs leave
One common natural remedy people propose for bed bugs is to leave things that are infested outdoors, hoping that either cold weather or the heat will kill them off. This is a remedy that will get you mixed results. For some people, it works very well - which is why people keep telling everyone to use it. Often, however, there will still be some alive even if you've put stuff out in extreme temperatures. Why? Because the temperature isn't evenly distributed, for one. Let's say you put a mattress outside in the winter. Parts of it will get very cold, especially the exterior. But inside, it wouldn't get that cold - and it might not be cold enough to get rid of them. For another, it takes pretty extreme temperatures - either above 120 degrees Fahrenheit or below zero. If you're trying to freeze them out, it takes a week or two for them to die.
Q: If you keep the room dirty, bed sheets-pillows etc., then you will attract Bed Bugs, but if you keep the room sanitized you will never have Bed Bugs. Is this information all true?
Yes. I'm not sure if your talking about the actual bed bugs or other bugs that are attracted to dirt which can be found in beds. For example, silverfisk, ants, or pinchers. Either way its a yes. If your sheets and or pillows have collected dust particles, old skin, hair, or food. Insects such as silver fish can grow right then and there. Gross isn't it? Insects could either come through cracks within the walls, or multiply in an area where they feel like it. I sleep with all three dogs in my bed, therefore i have to vacuum my bed and get rid of the hair every day. I also have to shake off the covers, pillows, and sometimes linens outside. The actual bed bug insect do attract to dirty beds, although they're more likely to appear in hotels and such. They are microscopic, so you won't see them. But that doesn't mean they're not there. Hope this helps and keep your room clean!
Q: What's the difference btw lie in bed and lie in the bed or should I use on instead? Please...
Lie on the bed, in my mind, means on the covers, or having nothing covering me. Lying in the bed, makes me think of someone under, or in, their bedsheets.
Q: What's the difference between a hotel suite, a standard room and a double room, and a suite and a business room?
A single room with a bed in it. The Econo Hotel may be a bed with a width of about 1.2 meters. A luxury hotelUsually, a large bed with a width of over 1.8 meters is usually equipped
Q: Dormitory 90*190's bed, how much quilt should I buy?
Sheets are just as good as single sheets. They are 1 meters wide and 2 inches wide. They are of little length.Quilts are just plain quilts. They don't have width requirements. Anyway, it's wrapped around you or covered with a small corner. When I buy it, I say the bed in the school dormitory is 90 centimeters wide. The person who sells things is the clearest
Q: DO red ants eat bed bugs? Like florida red ants, that bite. My brothers told me that they eat anything, and so im wondering, do They?ThanksMo
Yes, the red ants do bite and eat bed bugs. However bed bugs live in a different environment, namely inside your mattress (that's why they are called bed bugs). However this method of getting rid of bed bugs is almost illogical as most people do not infest their beds with red ants just to kill bed bugs.
Q: what's the difference between a high pressure bed and a low pressure bed?
Hey! So the difference between a high pressure bed and a low pressure bed is that the high pressure bed has stronger bulbs and UVA rays. This causes you to get tanner much faster and you burn less. A lower pressure bed does not have as strong of bulbs, and therefor you are in the tanning bed for a longer period of time. It also is much more easier to burn since you are in the bed for twice as long.So why doesn't everyone use high-pressure tanning beds? Some experts believe the high ratio of UVA to UVB isn't safe. UVA can still damage the skin and cause some forms of skin cancer, it can also damage the skin's elasticity. Most importantly, however, high-pressure tanning doesn't help at all with the one major health benefit of tanning - vitamin D production. To encourage vitamin D a higher percentage of UVB is needed, as is delivered with low-pressure tanning beds. :] :]
Q: I have cedar bedding in my hamster cage, I just got him yesterday but I've been reading on some sites that cedar bedding is bad for them.
Cedar is very bad for hamsters I'd recommend care fresh or Kaytee the one tht smells like lavender. Hamsters can get respiratory problems and cedar bedding causes it because it has dust
Q: I've been seeing these tiny bugs that look like bed bugs, and it's been about two days since I started spotting them. I've seen about 3, but I'm not sure if they are bed bugs, because when I wake up, I don't see any bites on me or anything. Please help, and tell me what they are!
Most people are not allergic to bed bugs. So even if the bed bugs are biting (they actually puncture the skin), you will see no skin reaction (other than a small puncture, which you many not spot). I'd suggest checking the mattress and box spring for small brown fecal spots. Check under labels and behind the plastic box spring corner guards. There are insects that are confused with bed bugs including beetles and young roaches. I've attached a resource with pictures of bed bug bites and pictures in insects that are confused with bed bugs. I'd suggest capturing one of the insects and sending it to Identify LLC. You can also call a local cooperative extension office or department of health to see if they have an insect ID Service.
