Petroleum engineers do not have any thing to do with the design of machinery. Their primary interest is the underground reservoirs that contain oil and gas. They can spend some time around a drilling rig but they do most of their work in an office. Having hearing aids should not be a problem in terms of employment. You need to realize that picking discipline for salary is the wrong thing to do for two reasons. One you should always work at something you enjoy and are good at. Two, just because a given discipline has a higher average salary doesn't mean you will be one of the engineers that earns that higher salary.

You could demonstrate that as the load on a three phase induction motor or transformer, increases, so too does the power factor. This is something that is important to demonstrate as it will lead to the correct size motor or transformer, being installed. A second demonstration could be showing that as the mechanical load on a three phase motor, increases, the motor draws more current and the slip speed percentage, increases slightly. You can use a prony brake to apply more load in both of these demonstrations. You will also need a power factor meter, a watt-meter and a tachometer.

Q:We all know that taking medication with alcohol, driving, or use of machinery intensifies the effect of medicine, but how come water don't? I also heard that taking medication with an acidic juice will decrease the effect.Water is suppose to be pure but you do have chemicals in it.I'm a little backwards here on this. If you want the medication to work, shouldn't you do what you need to do to get it to take effect for you?I have a low tolerance for medication so I SERIOULSY avoid doing the 3 'don'ts' of taking medication.But there's people out there that find if the medication isn't working with water, then they'll take other means to get it to work.

Ok... alcohol DOES intensify the effects of some medications, but driving and operating machinery does not. They say do not drive or operate machinery because you do not know how you are going to react to the medication. Sometimes the medications make you tired or less alert. LoL, that's funny!
