Q:Cleaned out my basement today & found rolls of duck tape and plastic sheeting left over from Y2K. WTHell?: Save them for a potential n1h1 scare.

Q:Thin plastic sheets for confetti?: I've never seen the sheets sold specifically for that purpose. My suggestion would be to use the plastic sheet tab dividers that you can get in office supply stores. It'd be 5-8, 8.5x11 sheets per package for $2-$4. Try Staples, Office Depot, or even Walmart.

Q:Will plastic sheeting, plastic mulch help in starting my crops earlier?: I don't know. I've seen many farms in Australia use plastic on the ground along rows of crops. I think these are drip fed though. I haven't heard of plastic mulch.... it doesn't sound like something I'd want on my veges. When I lived in a more temperate climate (regular frosts in winter and slow starting springs), I'd put the seed in the ground and put the top maybe 1/4 of a plastic bottle over the top and twisted into the ground a bit. Seemed to work fairly well, then when it was warmer and the seedlings were bigger I just took them off. My brother put plastic on bits of his garden (in a more tropical climate) and everything just went manky. The soil got too hot, couldn't breathe properly and there was mould issues. The seedlings all died. You can always start the seedlings indoors - although I've never had much luck transplanting them.

Q:the little plastic sheet inside my microwave is peeling off, is it dangerous?: When a microwave degrades it is time to get a new one..When plastic sheeting peels away from the chasis there is likley to be metal behind the sheet..The plastic often acts as a shield and will not attract the microwave frequency.. You may develope a hot spot and cause damage and even create fire.. Do not use is my reccommrndation..

Q:Where can i buy the PVC Sheet with good quality?: If you are talking about the 2' x 4' white plastic sheets, any hardware store or home improvement store ( such as home depot ) should carry these. Its used for light fixtures mostly. They should also cut it down if needed.
