FAQ

For a class competition, we have to make a boat out of only a square of aluminum foil that can hold as many marbles as possible without sinkingAny suggestions about the shape of the boat or anything else that could help?
Here's my 2 cents, for what it's worth: I would make the boat with a shape similar to that of a juicer (the glass thing used to squeeze oranges) but with higher sides (and not as big a dent in the middle)Form the center of the foil into this shape, and roll up the edges to make a rimDon't flatten as you roll, you want the rim to be as rigid as possible(You may find that flattening the rim horizontally gives more strength; experiment!) You should wind up with a bowl that has a hump in the centerThe hump helps keep the weight of the marbles toward the edges, rather than in the center (where they would tend to collapse the ring)If you get to put the marbles in yourself, put the first ones in so they form a ring around the outer edge and build on thoseThis will also trap some air under the center cone which should help with buoyancy and stabilityTest your design and tweak it! Good luck!
Should I leave it plugged in even after the battery is charged or unplug and run down again.
Keep it on charger and remove the battery (if u are able to)
I usually like to prepare salads from whole vegetables, but those precut mixes in bags are handy.and goodSome of the ingredients aren't even always available on my supermarket shelvesSo.how does one keep them fresh in the refrigerator?
If you want to live in the city, yes, it's going to be expensivebut you could live in equally as nice parts of NYC such as Queens or Brooklyn or Staten Island.I don't really like the Bronx too much.but whatever.that's just my opinionsbut yeahI wouldn't go try to live in Manhattan because you can live in other boroughs and always just take the train to wherever it is you need to goReal estate is expensive anywhere you goinside or outside of NYbut you can find loopholes around it and find places that are not insanely expensiveAs far as finding a job herepshgood luckYou're gonna need to look in the city to find any place that would hire youIt's so hard to find a job around here.trust me, I know-- Anyway.good luck!
you know wash a salmon after fishing ? i don't know how can i do't because today whent my firs fishing day and?
your best bet is to wash it by running it under fresh clean water and NEVER USE SOAP (unless you like soap poisoning) slice the belly all the way down take the guts out and be sure to remove them all again rinse with clean water cut the head off but you really don't have towrap in cellophane (cling wrap) and aluminum foil then place in a ziplock freezer bag toss it in the freezerif you don't cook it with in a weekCooking my favorite way take a pan use a pad or 2 of butter seer the salmon fillet, crisp the outside a little bit, give it a splash of lemon to tastetop it of with some fresh parsley, some salad on the side and a glass of white winegood fishin and enjoy
where is the thermocouple located and what does it look like on GAFFERS AND SATTLER unit 1967 year, thx for the infoill replace it when i know where it is
Looking at the gas valve, find the 1/4 aluminum tube and follow it to the pilot burnerRunning close to the aluminum tube and attached to the gas valve will be a smaller copper tubeThe thermocouple will be the small rod at the end of the copper tube next to the pilot burnerThe thermocouple is placed so that the pilot flame will play on the 1/2 to 3/8 at the endThat is called the hot junctionThe flame playing on the hot junction will produce a small amount of voltage that is used by the gas valve's safety deviceThe copper tube has a fitting that threads into the gas valveIt should be tightened slightly beyond finger tightThermocouples fail over timeYou can purchase universal thermocouple replacements easilyThey come with 18, 24 30 and 36 lengthsBuy the longer ones, the excess can be left coiled, no problemBe careful to position the hot junction correctlyToo much in the flame (more than 3/8) and the voltage will be canceledYou'll have to hold the gas valve in the pilot position and depressed long enough for the temperature of the hot junction to rise and make enough voltage to hold the safety device open.
thetop and bottom faces tin are cut consisting regular polygonsfing the relationship of the ratio of h/r, the number of sides of polygon
I would think that square or rectangle would be best, since there is no 'waste' betwen cutsThis is probably too simple an answer, though.
The cooked meat can be guaranteed for several days in vacuum packed with aluminium foil bags
Use soft packaging bags containing aluminum foil: vacuum packed, then 121 degrees high temperature sterilization 30 minutes, under normal temperature can be stored for 0.5~1 years;
I suck at this!CuCl2 + H2O + Al -gt; H2 + AlCl3 + CuOAnd please explain what this means!I know it has to do with Copper Chloride,Water, and Aluminum
