- All you would need is a recliner chair, possibly made of leather - any material or furry chairs would only be irritating and distract you from gaming. It doesn't need to be too fancy, it doesn't need speakers or anything. All it would need is to be able to recline and possibly a drink holder or something so it's always nearby. There is always a little table next to the chair if you can't find a drink holder. Try a local furniture store that sells second hand furniture so you are not spending a fortune. My friend found a leather recliner for 50 bucks at one of those places - since all of the money went to charity.

- It's a second empire chair. Second empire style is from the period between 1865 - 1880 but it could also be a reproduction. It kind of looks like a reproduction from the picture but it's hard to tell without seeing it in the flesh so to speak. Value depends on so many things. If there a manufacturer name on the chair, what's the condition, etc. It depends what's making the legs wobbly. It can be dried out wood which shrinks the joints or something else.

- It would help to see the chair. I dont believe that part controls the height of the chair. Typically it is a gas cylinder with either a leaver under the seat or piece of the seat. There are chairs that you spin to adjust height but considering your chair is massaging and heating, i would assume it is raised and lowered with the gas cylinder. If the gas cylinder is not working it may not be making a good connection. (when you pull the lever it pushes a button on the top of the gas cylinder which causes it to raise/lower) If you put the chair together yourself I would make sure that the gas cylinder is pushed all the way into the under chair bracket. Otherwise contact the manufacturer and they should send you the replacement part.

- I made a chair out of a Dodge mini van seat- Captain chair type- I used 2x6's for the side rails just about as wide as the seat drilled 3/4 holes in the 2x6's make them 12longer than the chair in front and the same in back- mine recline-this will let you recline without hitting the wall, use 1/2 black iron pipe run them through the 3/4 holes My chair has hooks on the bottom to lock it in place, now cover the 2x6 with cloth or leather and they are comfortable, Mine is in my shop and I even take naps in it . Have Fun.
