Q:I am looking for low priced pro vacuum cleaners that suck real hardwhere can i find them online
try this OKorder store
Q:It's really a simple engineering principal, four fixed wheels like to go in straight lines. Where as a ball can move it in any direction. So in clear choice, easy turns with minimal efforts, or do it the old fashioned way. It's quite amusing that a vacuum cleaner and its complexities completely destroy Evolution. And yet it's treated as fact, sigh.
My vacuum cleaner can move in all directions. Sigh!
Q:.....is that BAD? did he kill my vacuum cleaner? does anyone know about this?
Hi its Darran at Dyson. We would strongly recommend that your Dyson vacuum cleaner is not used to clear up ash from a fireplace or stove. Dyson vacuum cleaners are designed and tested to pick up normal household dust and debris and are not tested for this purpose. We would advise thoroughly cleaning the filter(s) or replacing if you are unable to clean them properly, and ensuring you clean as much of your machine through with a slightly damp cloth. If you need any help with your Dyson, please do not hesitate to contact us on 08002980298 (UK) or 1866MYDYSON (US). Kind regards Darran Dyson Customer Service
Q:If i reduced considerably the size of the hose of a vacuum cleaner say by 4, is the suction power goin to increase by 4? Since pressure is equal to force/area. im trying to make my vacuum cleaner ultra powerful. thank you.
No it will not increase. The velocity at the nozzle will increase but lifting power will not, it will pick up small objects better but not larger ones. The danger is that most vacuum cleaners rely on the flow of air through the motor to cool it, when you reduce this by restricting the nozzle you may overheat and burn out the motor !
Q:who buys commercial used vacuum cleaners dallas, tx?
List it for sale on Craig's List.
Q:Hi there,I know that a lot of bagless vacuums are sold as quot;Cyclonicquot;, but I remember hearing somewhere that only Dysons actually remove all the dirt from the air by cyclonic action, whilst the rest also rely on filters. Is it true that other companies can not (due to patents, etc.) make vacuum cleaners that work in exactly the same way as a dyson, or is it just an urban myth created by clever marketing on the part of dyson? If anyone (in the UK) has a vacuum they think is comparable to a dyson, I'd love to hear about it, cheers.
I have the Eureka Boss SmartVac and I love it! It does a great job. I have kids, pets, and a husband who works construction, and it gets up all their dirt/dust/hair/etc... The suction is great and it has a switch to turn the beater bar off so you can use it on any hard floor surface. It's not bagless, but I had a bagless before, and I would never have another one again. It's very reasonably priced and I can't see how a Dyson could outclean it. Hope this helps. Good luck!
Q:I am about to purchase a new vacuum cleaner. Does anyone have any good advice on a good brand?
The oreck, the Kirby canister or the sears canister vacuums are your best bet.The average upright vacuum does not have a lot of suction power but those listed especially the Kirby canister and the sears canister will pickup most anything. The oreck is lightweight and powerful but the motor is small and overheats easily.
Q:There are many other things in our houses that make a racket, and the dogs and kitties are alright with them, but, drag out the Hoover, and, wow!, it's as if you were coming after them with a chainsaw. Why is this?
Probably because... well... it makes a big noise. I don't know why but all I know is that when I turn on my vacuum, my dog runs like his life is at stake... Ah the joy of having pets...
Q:I don't misuse them. I simply turn them on, vacuum the carpeted floors in my apartment, and promptly turn it off and store it in the laundry room. I have now had to purchase 3 vacuum cleaners in a year because they all have the same problem. They just stop picking things up whatsoever; however if you use the attached hose it sucks everything up. There are no clogs and nothing is wrong on the bottom in appearance. Help!
Most vacuums have filters. If your filter is dirty, the vacuum's suction power will diminish greatly. The power through the hose has probably decreased as well, but it is not as noticeable because the hose has greater suction than the bottom. Put your hand against the hose and see if it will hold your hand tight against it. If it is very easy to pull you hand away, you have suction issues all around. Look for your filters and clean them.
Q:it seems to be depositing the dust and crap back out. The carpet ends up worse then it originally was! The band defiantly hasn't broken as the brush is still spinning. Its past its warranty (conveniently lol)Any ideas?
