Q:I have a Build-A-Bear Rudolph from holiday seasons last year. He's in a pretty good condition, but he does have some problems. His nose is supposed to light up, but it doesn't despite replacing the batteries,so the whole system might need a replacement. Also, his head is stuffed at an angle that looks kinda weird. I know Build-A-Bear does repairs, but can they do all that without cost? If so, do they still have the equipment to fix the battery pack?
Hi there!!! Yes, Build-a-Bear Workshop does repairs. It doesn't really matter where you got your bear or animal, online, OKorder, stores etc. They'll still fix it for you. If you bring it in they will fix it, if it looks dirty then I suggest buying the paw brush and bear stuff cleaner. If you bear or animal's stiching has come out, then I'm sure they will be happy to stitch it back and put more stuffing. If you are still not sure then check online. I hope this helped, and good luck!
Q:I know you can always get rechargeable batteries, but I hear that digital cameras use a lot of juice, so you'd probably have to have lots of sets. what do you think?
I Think You Are Missing-Out on Some Great Cameras. Why Not Try Using 'AA' Rechargeable Batteries? I Use These And Get Hundreds Of Shots Per Charge And If They 'Die' While I'm Away From Home, I Can Use 'Alkaline' Batteries Till I Can Recharge. P.S. Some Cameras Get Better Battery 'Mileage' Than Others Check Websites For Comparison.
Q:i have a Sony cybershot camera and recently, one of its two batteries wont charge when placed on the charger. i put the second battery on the charger and it worked fine, so i dont think its the charger. the first battery (that wont charge) was left in the camera for at least a few months, so im not sure if thats the problem. i have left the batteries in it before with no issues so i dont know why it would be an problem. also, the battery is fairly new(er). its a type G. help?
Check the battery contacts for any kind of corrosion. Does the charger register that the battery is there and SAY its charging? ETA: Check the battery contacts. It sounds as if something isn't connecting with the contacts on the charger. Either one of the contacts is corroded, gone, broken, bent, etc. Might be shot. Just check the contacts, press it firmly down on the charger and see if that makes connection
Q:I have a lipo rc helicopter that runs off of a lipo 2 cell 7.4 volt battery i was wondering, since the battery overheated and is no use anymore, can i run the helitcopter off of a usb battery pack? with the equivelant of 6/7 volts?
Most likely no, due to insufficient capacity. What caused it to overheat? Using the wrong charger, or an electrical fault.
Q:i have a 7.2V Ni-CD AAx6 700mAh RC Battery Pack and was wondering if i bought one with a higher milliwatt would that ruin my mp5 airsoft gun? (just by a little bit)
It depends on your hop-up and your mechbox, if you have like systema grade internals it will be fine but if you have a v1 or v2 mechbox it has the potential possibly to ruin it yes
Q:im doing a project on hybrid cars and i need to nowthanks
Toyota uses prismatic NiMH modules from Panasonic. Each module consists of six 1.2 V cells connected in series. The module has a nominal voltage of 7.2 V, capacity of 6.5 Ah, weighs 1.04 kg, and has dimensions of 19.6mm(W) x 106mm(H) x 275mm(L). The Pack The Toyota Prius II battery stack consists of 38 prismatic NiMH modules connected in series. It delivers a nominal 273.6 Volts and has a 6.5 Ah capacity. The modules are stacked side by side and then compressed together in a rigid, non-expandable structure that prevents expansion from internal pressures. The complete battery pack consists of the battery stack, enclosure for structural support and airflow, battery electronic control unit/monitor, relays and safety switch. The weight of the complete battery pack is 53.3 kg. The pack is horizontally positioned in the boot of the vehicle partially under the back seat. Power electronics (inverter, DC-AC converter) are under the bonnet and a blower for moving air and associated air ducts are in the boot. Discharge power capability of the Prius pack is around 20 kW at 50% SOC with regenerative capability of 14.5 kW at 2C. The power capability increases with higher temperatures and decreases at lower temperatures. Active thermal management can improve power capability at lower temperatures.
Q:I bought a Canon VIXIA HF R300 Camcorder a few months ago, and I noticed a message saying to change the battery pack almost as soon as I turned it on. I just decided to wait and see what that meant, since I didn't know why it would need it; I had literally just gotten the camera. Now when I turn on the video camera it says that message every time, and when I go to look at the videos I've recorded it pops up there too. When I'm recording the battery drains REALLY fast. Why is it doing this? How do I fix it?
Are you charging the battery according to the instructions in the manual? If so, you have a defective battery.
Q:do they make 18v batteries for it? If not how could i make one using an 18v lithium battery pack? Thanks
It depends on the model. I doubt you can build one.
Q:Hello All,I am going to buy the Lowell ID Video Light. My questions is which battery pack should I buy? With what connectors should the battery pack use?Which are the good ones? Do not want to spend a massive amount of money, with in reason.
How long do you need the light to run at one time? You need enough battery to keep the light going at least that long, and probably 20% more than that. It is a fact of life that good batteries with enough capacity to keep you running for any amount of time cost a lot of money. There a dozens of choices, most of which can be bought with either sort of connector. Connector choices are cigarette lighter and phantom power if this is your only device that needs such a connector, the cigarette lighter type is as good as anything else. If you have other devices that need power, it makes sense to use one connector type between them. Having some lighter socket and some XLR just makes things more difficult.
Q:I foolishly burned out 2 green LEDs already since I provided too much voltage. The 2 green LEDs I need to light up have a forward voltage of 3.2 volts each. The battery pack has 3 AA rechargeable batteries, for a total of 3.6 V(1.2 V per battery). If I remove one battery, the LEDs won't light up at all. How can I reduce the voltage so it doesn't burn out my LEDs, do I need to use a resistor or can I use something else? If I need resistors, what kind of resistors should I use?
You don't, you use a resistor to limit the current going to the LED, the voltage taking care of itself.
