Q:northern lights ?
It's a fine crossbreed of marijuana, part indica part sativa, for that nice, smooth high. But don't be fooled, it's rare in the US so the punks selling it probably are just pitching it to be NL. It's an old strain so there are many derivatives such as NL Haze, NL Silver, etc.
Q:How do fireflys light UP??!?
The key to lighting up a firefly's life is luciferase, an enzyme, and its tag-team buddy, luciferin, the molecule upon which luciferase enzyme acts. Lucieferase drives a chemical reaction that generated light
Q:are silver trucks light?
extra ideal won't be able of be responded. Thats a rely of personel determination. Of the checklist you have up there the tensor lo's and the silvers may be the mild contraptions. they are all mild yet those 2 basically regarded the lightest.
Q:Does light travel at the speed of light?
Its true that speed of light is lower in denser medium. Actually, Vacuum is a condition in which a part of space is totally devoid of any matter let it be solid, liquid or gas. We can't say that outer space is a kind of vacuum. It is surely occupied by these particles which may have effect on its velocity, but to a lesser extent than that our atmosphere has on light. Precisely, the effect on the speed of light is negligible.
Q:Effect of gravity on speed of light?
The speed of light (300,000 KM/S) is a universal constant, it is not impacted by the velocity of an observer (if you were going in the opposite direction it would not appear to move faster) and it is not impacted by force. Light however, does appear to move slower through various mediums because of absorption and reemission, and it's various interactions with the substance. And though light cannot be accelerated by gravity, the path light follows can be bent. This is mostly explained in relativity, but you might want to take a course in the subject, as that book is rather dense.
Q:battery light and brake light are ON?
Toyota has the same thing. Usually this means the alternator is bad. I feel that this is alternator related. Have your alternator and battery checked at your local auto parts store.
Q:Tail lights and dash lights not working...?
Replace your headlight switch. All lighting is routed through it.Look at the terminals and you will see the middle connectors are fried.
Q:does uv light affect goldfish?
lighting for a goldfish is more asthetic than anything. If you had a coral reef aquarium of something that's different, but a goldfish is a cold water fish and doesn't need heat or light to survive... that being said, fish in general are less stressed if you mimic the day/night cycle (use a timer for ease and convienience) meaning leave the light on during the day and shut it off at night when you go to sleep. I have mine automatically come on at 10am and off at 11pm so it is on when i get home from work all the way until bed and I can enjoy the fishies. Please remember though, fish sleep too and need a night cycle, don't leave the light on 24/7... plus it's bad on the electric bill! If you really wanted you could switch the light for a black light but I doubt it would enhance your fish any, if you want that... buy what is called a blue actinic bulb from petsmart. They give a blue color designed to enhance you fishes appearance... If you want to see your fish at night, invest in an LED lunar light. one should suffice in a 10 gallon and they aren't expensive... again, at petsmart. It slips right on the side of the tank and is a soft blue light that mimics the moon's rays. They are designed for night viewing of nocturnal creatures, although, your goldfish will not be very exciting to watch sleep! I hope this information is helpful. Good Luck!
Q:Is this ok for lighting?
your lighting set up will probably cause a lot of algae growth the lighting should be limited to 8 hours each day this means both natural (sunlight) and artificial (both room light and aquarium light) the timer is a good idea for the on/off cycle (i use 2 timers one for morning(white light) and one(blue light) for night)
Q:why do darker colors absorb more light than lighter colors?
It's quite a simple concept although you ask the question the wrong way. It's only a matter of definition (or rather a chicken-and-egg problem). WE perceive colors that absorb more light to be dark, and ones that don't absorb a lot of color to be light. It's not the other way around. If black reflected all incoming light (opposite to what it does), it would be considered a light color. I hope you get the idea.
