- Q:What does scaffold one's days mean? kill time?
- In 60 years of using English in Britain I have not come across that expression, so it is probably rare. Scaffolding is put up to help build or repair tall buildings, so possibly that expression means 'to do something useful with one's time.' But a scaffold is also, historically, a place of execution (legal killing of prisoner), so the expression could mean indeed 'wasting time'. I have a faint feeling that 'scaffold one's days' was written by a non-native speaker of British English. It may be more common in the USA.
- Q:Was thinking of getting one. How much do they cost?
- your okorder /... and they usually cost about 40$
- Q:What does my earth science teacher mean when he says to do a powerpoint with Link Scaffolding, how d u do it?
- Link Scaffolding = A search found no answer. - Ask teacher to clarify.
- Q:...and I'm not really sure what to expect. I know that everyones healing time and pain tolerence is different but just some personal storys would be nice. And before you say it I am aware that there are risks as there are risks with any piercing. so I'm 17 from London and wondering:How old do you have to be to get it done?Does anyone know a reputable place i can get it done? How much will it be?any experiences to share?
- via stretcher you advise gauge, ultimate? i've got in no way heard it suggested as a stretcher before, yet that would desire to easily be only an area slang differing style venture. besides, i think of gauges are suited or perhaps lovable in the event that they are smaller. bigger ones are too off-putting and that i might in no way do it myself. i like the belief of an commercial piercing nevertheless. i admire those. i myself % to get one sometime quickly. i've got needed one for a mutually as. i does no longer probably individually get a gauge, yet whilst that's what you sense works via all skill get one. i think of the commercial piercing is adequate on that is very own. i do no longer think of it should be accompanied via a gauge. besides, it sounds to be such as you needed the commercial piercing first, so which you may desire to start with that.
- Q:How to calculate the double wall scaffolding
- Calculation of bearing capacity of foundation:The average pressure of the bottom of the vertical rod foundation should meet the requirements of the formulaP = FGDesign value of foundation bearing capacity:FG = fgk x Kc = 200 kN/m2;
- Q:A scaffold is constructed by placing two supports under a 13 ft, 9 in (a) board weighing 84 lbs. The supports are each 2 ft, 8 in (b) from their respective ends. Two painters stand on the board; one weighs 158 lbs and stands 4 ft, 11 in (c) from the left end of the board. Where must the 222 lbs painter stand so that each support carries the same weight? (express your distance in feet from the right end of the board (d).)please help!! thanks(:
- Total weight = 222 + 158 + 84 = 464 lb So, each support must carry 232 lbs Working in inches: Take moment about Right hand end Board is assumed to be uniform - CG is at the center (232 x 32) + (232 x 133) = (158 x 106) + ( 84 x 82.5 ) +(222 x d)7424 + 30856 = 16748 + 6930 + 222d 222d = 14602 d = 65.77 inches Distance of 222 lb painter should be 5ft 5.77inches from Right end
- Q:Cantilever beam type scaffolding can not exceed the maximum number of not married
- Cantilever scaffold cantilever beam fixed method is as follows:1, the floor in the rebar at the same time, the embedded two door shaped clamp, each clamping hoop is composed of 2 14mm grade steel made a root diameter, the first door shaped clamp from the wall 450mm, second door shaped clamp from the other end of the 350mm, the door shaped card hook stirrup slab reinforcement, to meet the requirements of the anchorage the cantilever beam, door shaped clamp is inserted in the middle, but also with a fixed electric welding.
- Q:Calculation method of complete scaffold
- The most distant light is closer to us than the nearest darkness:Distance is usually just a myth
- Q:I got an industrial/scaffold piercing a few months ago and currently have captive bead rings in (The piercer put those in after he pierced it). The piercings are now healed enough for me to change the piercing, and I found an industrial bar on ebay which I'd really like to order. Only problem is, it has two choices on the gauge thickness and length, and I don't know which mine is.The gauge sizes available are 1.2mm (16g) or 1.6mm (14g) , and the length options are 32mm, 35mm, 38mm.Does anyone know which would be the best to get? Thanks.
- I originality did not read the entire introductory question, and was going to tell you to speak with your suppliers representative. LOL As if you were doing actual scaffold work. Thx for reading my irrelevant answer!!! LOL
- Q:Also what 2 cell populations in the body that don't routinely undergo cell division
- The first one is vague. The answer could be the mitotic spindle. It might be kinetochore microtubules. It might be talking about the kinetchores on the chromosomes instead of the microtubules that attach to the kinetochores. It could possibly even be talking about the centromeres, though to me that seems less likely. Neurons in the adult brain (and mature muscle cells?) do not routinely undergo cell division.
