- ive just had scaffolding done, and it was quite painful, far more painful than i was told. they just stab through your ear with a needle, but i didn't think it was that bad. not as bad as getting your nose done. but it was very sore and painful to touch for days after. hope this helps :) X

- Q:Hi(: My names Tasha, and I love piercings. (I have 8) And I want to get an industrial piercing(Some call it a scaffold). But my ear doesn't have a bend like most people do.I got my first four piercings done by a professional. But felt I was much more comfortable having my brother(22) do it. Since he's someone I know, and hes done piercings and stuff before.
- This is why you need a pro. I can see where you should probably put a helix-to-helix industrial in that ear, but if yall can't see it, then I don't think you should be trying this, as neither of you have the experience a professional piercer does.
- Q:I know it's soon, but my piercings swollen and quite sore when knocked slightly.I've only had it three or four days, but there's a swollen round lump right next to one pierced hole and I was worried it could be an early sign of a keloid. But I don't know if it's too soon to tell yet.I know they can take up to 6 months to heal, if not more, but I'm kinda paranoid about it.I've rinsed it after showering, used salt water on it every day and apart from that just washed it with water on a cotton bud.Any advice?
- I had my industrial for 13 months and it never healed. I decided to retire it and the piercing sites closed up within 6 hours. Seriously, my advice to you is to just take it out. They are wayyyy more trouble than they are worth.
- Q:i was thinking of having it done. google it if you don't know what it looks like. but i can't handle pain too well, and as i've seen on youtube, its not nice lmfao, i know pain varies from person to person, but any ideas on how to like take your mind off it? im quite young and this is my first major piercing, i only have my lobes done twice;), and does anyone know a good place to find nice barbells once it's healed:)? thanks:)!aaand do you think this is a nice piece to put in once its healed?
- I okorder for barbells. They have some pretty epic lightnight bolt ones and zigzags and they are like 3 bucks!!!! You can never find them in the mall like that :P lol. Anyway, i deff. think you should get the piercing. It's worth the pain. It'll be over in 2 seconds lol. Good luck :D
- Q:hi, ive had my scaffolding for a little over a month now, and one of the holes has started going really weird. on the top, its swollen and sore on one side, and on the bottom, its the same but on the opposite side. not sure if its infected ir being rejected by ear, which ive heard can happen. i would like to keep it in if possible,as i love it. any help welcomed :) thanks xx
- I've also had my scaffolding and I had the same issue. It was totally normal, I went back to the peircing place and asked if this was regular for the piercing. They said it was and to proceed with the cleaning process etc. they said it just has scabs because its healing :)
