Q:I'm a civil engineering student and we were asked to submit a paper about designing a simple scaffolding. I just want to see a sample paper so that I would know what details should I include.
can't draw here, but it's just an x with a flat board on top in 3 dimensions.
Q:I'm trying to understand a problem in my physics book. The problem is this:A person is pulling on a rope, that is connected to a pulley on the ceiling. The rope then goes to a box with a pulley on it, and then up to the ceiling where the rope is connected (to the ceiling). The rope and pulleys are massless and frictionless. The book lists three forces (tension forces) going up and one weight force pulling down.My question is, why isn't there another force pulling against the tension of the rope from the guy pulling the rope?
The force felt by the person pulling is the same as the force in the rope between the two pulleys. It doesn't matter if the person is pulling straight up (without the pulley) or straight down(with the pulley) it's the same. Therefore the weight/force is divided equally between the two ropes.
Q:what are two burdens for each character? What action does each character indicate that she or he is indeed free from their burdens?
Tell me what you know and I will elaborate. I had to read this book for a class and hated it, but I won't do your homework for you. I will help if you show you read it yourself and put in some effort we can see
Q:What is the meaning of the scaffold when it is set up in the concrete structure of the permanent building
. Among them, the specification of the steel pipe is from 0.5m to 6m, and the fastener mainly has a rotating shaft, a cross and a joint fastener. Bowl buckle scaffold also uses Phi 48, 3.5 wall thickness steel
Q:What are the chances of cracking the tile? What can I do to avoid cracking the tile? This will be 3 levels of scaffolding on 6 inch wheels.
Make sure you use the rubber wheels. Put a drop cloth under the scaffolding to prevent scratching or help cushion dropped objects. The tile shouldn't crack.
Q:hi, i already have my cartlidge pierced on my right ear and thinking about getting a scaffold piercing on my left ear. will a scaffold piercing hurt more than my cartlidge piercing,,less,,or about the same???thanks answers apprecietedhope =] xx
Several people have told me it hurts about the same. I do not have one, sorry couldn't be more help than that.
Q:The classification of scaffolding and the relevant provisions of the provisions of the installation, please explain professional, thank you
1, the height of the super 24M drop steel scaffolding; 2, attached to the lifting of the scaffolding, including the overall lifting and chip upgrade; the 3, cantilevered scaffolding; the door scaffolding, scaffolding, the scaffolding, scaffolding, the scaffolding; the 5, hanging basket, scaffolding, scaffolding, and so on; 6;
Q:My mom wouldn't let me get snakebites or cyberbites but she will let me get my scaffold pierced. I know people have different things for pain etc etc I know it will hurt but I want it pierced. So, to someone who has gotten it pierced or knows about it is there anything special you have to do to take care of it or is it just like the ear lobe piercing.
it probably does hurt cuz of your cartilage just put rubbing alchahol on it and it should be okay =)
Q:improper design of formwork and scaffolding, not adequate braces and supports, improper handling, corrosion of material is several factor of formwork and scaffolding failure. it is estimated that more than 3000 accidents involving falls from scaffolds and 30 fatalities
Well, it seems you came close to answering your question. But are falls a scaffolding failure? For me failure means that the scaffolding sagged or fell - which may result in injuries with or without falling as when the failing scaffolding falls on a worker on the ground. I would think that major causes of failure as I defined it would be inadequate or failed attachments to the building and failure of ground support for the structure. Question needs to be improved to define what you need in answer and avoid conflict between question and detail.
Q:Every time someone in medieval times was murdered by the beheading a new scaffold was built for the next prisoner.
Well that's not entirely true; they didn't ALWAYS built a new scaffold. Probably movies let you think so but that was not the case.
