- Q:Can plastic sheets be used for privacy screens?

- Q:I want to shatter a piece of plastic to use for an art project. Is there a way to crack it into a web-like shape like this
- If your friend is going into hospital - the best thing would be that the pig stays where it lives now and you go to it to check on it. It should be ok in a garage for a week or two, but it will need to be taken out daily. Also - do you realise that your garage will forever smell like pigsh1t? You will never get rid of it - it will be on the floor, the walls and even the ceiling.
- Q:Computer cases have clear side panels, what is it called plastic sheet?
- plexi-glass
- Q:Can plastic sheets be used for point-of-purchase displays?
- Yes, plastic sheets can be used for point-of-purchase displays. They are lightweight, versatile, and can be easily molded or cut into various shapes and sizes. - Q:I am giving my kitchen cupboards a makeover don't want to paint them so I thought covering them was best any ideas appreciated.thanks in advance
- I looove baking soda. I use it for everything. I sprinkle some over my carpet before vacuuming to get any odors or pet hair out. I sprinkle some in the litter box. I keep an open box in the freezer, the fridge, and all the closets to get rid of odors. And after a couple months I use those boxes to pour down the drain while running hot water. Deodorizes the garbage disposals and is great for unclogging drains. I poor some in the bottom of the garbage cans so there aren't any odors and I poor some into the ash trays outside. I also make a baking soda and water paste and scrub the bathroom top to bottom it works beautifully. I also love vinegar. I use that for my linoleum floors. I mix 1 part vinegar with 4 parts water and my floors sparkle magnificently. I also put 1 cup vinegar and the rest water in my coffee maker and run it to clean that out. I also like to hide dryer sheets under the couch cushions, under the beds, in the vents, in any little place that can't be seen to ensure my home always smells fresh. Also I like to keep one or two used dryer sheets around to use for dusting or to get rid of static in clothes on those windy days. And as far as lamp shades go I like to blow dry them on cold to get rid of any dust particles.
- Q:I want to insulate my floor in my house if i do so do i put up a plastic sheeting after i put in the insulate?
- If you are insulating over a basement you do not need or want a vapor barrier. If you are insulating ove a dirt floor then the vapor barrier would face the unfinished part of the crawl space.
- Q:I got, what I thought was a great deal on photo albums. When I got them home, I discovered they are only plastic envelope type pages. After reading the covers on the albums, it says clearly says sheet protectors, so what do I need to purchase to stick my pictures on to put into these plastic sheets?I am new at scrapbooking and photo album placements!!!!
- Sheet protectors do just that, protect the sheets that are inside them. So, what I'm guessing you have is a scrapbook album with the sheet protectors inside. You would mount your photos to cardstock or background scrapbook paper and slide the finished page into the page protector. Depending on the size of your book, you may have to cut the cardstock/paper down. Paper comes in 8 1/2 x 11 and 12 x 12. That is standard. If you go to the scrapbook/craft store you can see a lot of options, from solid colors to decorative paper. Select your background paper and then attach your photos to it using adhesive from the scrapbook aisle. You want acid-free, lignin-free and archival safe products (pens, glue, tape, paper, etc) so it will last and last and not fade or yellow. You can make your pages as elaborate as you want. I usually choose a background, matte my photos on cardstock, add a journal box and some embellishments. If these terms are over your head, take a class at the craft/scrapbook store and it will help you get started. There are layout books that are helpful too. Start simply and go from there. Good luck.
- Q:i'm trying to decide which rainsuit to buy and i can't figure out what the difference is between the 2, I just don't see how 10mm or 20mm is right, i don't see a rainsuit being made out of 1cm or 2cm thick plactic.
- Are you familiar with the metric system 10mm is just less than 1/2 and 20 mm is just under an inch I looked at the link and I don't think it's a mistake 1.0 mm would be a metre thick and no way is it that.
- Q:Can plastic sheets be used for window well covers?
- Yes, plastic sheets can be used for window well covers. They are lightweight, affordable, and can effectively protect window wells from debris, water, and other potential hazards. However, it is important to ensure that the plastic sheets are durable and properly secured to provide adequate protection and prevent any safety issues.
- Q:where can i buy like glass or plastic sheets/ walls in different sizes? Does home depot sell them? and how much are they?
- Hi, Does your local refuse dump/transfer station have a recycling section I would possibly try there first, I work at a transfer station and we have plenty of windows and unbroken glass come in. Also try a building demolition yard as well - other than that - you could take the neighbours LOL
