My guinea pigs do it all the time - They chew it well and it wont hurt their insides or anything - I also use the pine bedding and i've had mine for a long time now - I take them to the vet often and they're always very healthy- When i asked my vet he said it was normal- They eat everything. Everyone says that pine bedding is very toxic- but it's actually not - The shavings are fine- the WOOD CHIPS are harmful. But i don't know. I've always used pine - and none of my animals have had any problems.

Yes i have.Ive pulled them out and they keep comeing back.Its only a matter of time till they find a new home.I HOPE. All the best.

when i first saw this question i was going to just say urban outfitters until i read the rest of your details :D so you could always save up for something from urban outfitters~thats what im doing:) maybe pbteen? i guess thats pretty expensive too:/ so i guess a good place could be target or walmart. i have found a couple i like there just browsing through all the bedding on their website

slatted bed bases are for support, so your mattress doesn't fall through the bed frame. yes, you need it. Depends on the bed frame. Most Ikea bed frame should be compatible to regular mattresses but I've seen some that don't fit. FYI Ikea beds aren't that great unless it's for the guest room. I recommend going to bed factory outlet store, you'll get a good deal there.

Q:I have an old mattress, an antique but in good shape. I have a foam topper on the top. Lately, I have been sleeping in another bed in the house (which is a waterbed) but last night did not do to outside noise (I am a severe insomniac). I was sleeping VERY well in this other bed but last night I woke up all night after sleeping maybe 10 minutes at a time. I have always thought my bed was comfortable but am wondering now if my insomnia could be attributed to my bed? Are the memory foam (non Tempur Pedic brand) good? I have seen one for my size bed under 400.00. What could be my problem? I wake all night.

I slept on foam for years...my bed was in a loft so stayed warm and toasty. I moved to another house and had my bed on the floor, was way cold so I bought a new bed, box spring and frame to get me off the floor...I was amazed at how much more comfortable I was and how much better I slept. I don't know about the memory foam you asked about...when I bought my bed I went to every store in town that offers bed sets, spent hours laying on different beds in the stores, found a knowledgeable salesman to ask questions and have been very very happy with my bed for the last 7 years.
