Q:What level is the rock wool board fireproofing material ?
The fire rating classification is a provision for all insulation materials, rather than to separately divide rock wool. Determine the value of the material fire rating according to the relevant test items of 8624. As the rock wool is made from basalt fusion, so it is the level A non-combustible material. And those we usually see are the mineral cotton and glass wool, with its refractory temperature lower than the rock wool's. Rock wool board is now mainly used in wall insulation, which is a level A fire insulation material.
Q:Where is refractory used? Thank you!
According to its refractoriness, it can be divided into ordinary refractory (1,580℃ to 1,770℃), high class refractory (1,770℃ to 2,000) and super refractory (above 2,000℃); according to chemical property, it can be divided into acid , neutral and alkali refractories, and including refractory used for special occasion. The current definition of refractory do not only depend on whether the refractoriness is above 1,580℃. At present, refractory is widely used as inorganic nonmetallic material of production equipment lining in metallurgy, petrifaction, cement, ceramics, power, etc. Refractory generally has good thermal shock resistance, chemical attack resistance, low thermal conductivity and coefficient of expansion, widely used in chemical, construction material, mechanical manufacturing, and ceramics, accounting for 50% to 60% in the total output. It can resist high-temperature action. Refractory has many varieties. Refractory materials are widely used in metallurgy; chemical properties divided by acidic refractories. In addition, cement, silicates. Refractoriness refers to that when cones sample made from refractory has no load. Currently, refractory refers to that is widely used in metallurgy, including neutral refractory and basic refractory.
Q:How is the fire endurance of the fireproof paint?
time is different according to the amount of fireproof paint used. fire resistance time :0.5 hours 1.5 hours 2.0 hours 2.5 hours thickness: 0.45mm 0.9 mm 1.4 mm 2.0 mm 2.8 mm Amount: 0.79kg / m2 1.5 kg / m2 2.3 kg / m2 3.3 kg / m2 4.6 kg / m2
Q:What's meaning of CN of fire-resistant material?
The commonly used preparation methodsinclude shock compression, high-pressure pyrolysis, ion implantation, reactive sputtering, plasma chemical vapor deposition, electrochemicaldeposition, ion beam sputtering, , low-energy ion radiation, pulsed arc discharge, pulsed laser inducing, etc. But the compounding result of superhard materialis not ideal due to deposition of amorphous CN film, nanometer level sizedC3N4 crystalline grain set in the amorphous film and few large graincrystal.
Q:What is the difference between the fire rating and the fire resistant level of the fire-fighting equipment?
Fire rating and fire-fighting rating are the misnomer to the building fire resistant level. The building fire risk is measured by fire resistant level. The article 3.2.1 and 5.1.7 of "Architectural design code for fire protection" have made provision respectively on the fire resistant level of plant (the storeroom) and civil construction. Article 3.0.2 of "Code for fire protection design of tall buildings" has made provisions on the fire resistant level of tall buildings. Fire resistance rating of the building is divided into four levels. Standard of fire resistance rating is determined by the combustion performance and fire resistance of the main housing member. Level one or two are in accordance with the Article 1.0.2 in this specification.
Q:What is the appropiate thickness if fire resistant time for ultra thin steel structure coating is 2.5 hours?
A level fire resistant steel structure building steel column cannot be constructed with super thin steel structure fire retardant coating, because the ultra thin steel structure fire retardant limit is less than 3 hours. Thin fire retardant coating for steel structure is water borne fireproof coatings painted on the surface of steel structure. It will form carbonized fireproof heat insulation protective layer to insulate oxygen and delay the speed of heating steel structure when it catches on fire, avioding the rapid temperature rise of steel structure and increasing its fire resistant limit. Fire resistance performance: The 2mm coating ≥ 60min, 3mm 100min.
Q:which kind of material should be used in fireproofing cabinet?
Cabinet fireproof panel can be divided into fiber cement fireproofing board, metal fireproof panel, mineral wool fireproof panel, perlite fireproof panel and many other fireproof panels. Wherein fiber cement fireproofing board is a new material with growing popularity , it has good thermal insulation and sound insulation performance and belongs to a1 level fireproofing material. Fiber cement fireproofing board is a kind of decoration sheet that takes silicious material or calcareous material as the main raw materials and is made by being combined with fibrous material and other additives in certain proportion. Metal fireproof panel is a kind of sandwich dalle that takes aluminium plate, stainless steel plate, colorful steel plate and other metal materials as main raw materials and is made by adding some fire retardant materials. Mineral wool board is a kind of fireproofing decorative board that takes mineral wool and glass wool as the main raw materials. Perlite fireproof panel is a kind of fireproofing hollow plate that take low alkalinity cement as the main materials and fireproofing perlite as filler.
Q:How to divide the fire resistant level of construction thermal insulation materials?
1, Combustion performance of the national standard building materials are divided into the following levels: Class A: incombustible building material: Material that almost never burn. Class B1: nonflammable building material: Nonflammable materials have good effect of flame resistance. In case of fire it in the air or at high temperature it is difficult to catch fire and spread, and when the fire source is removed, the combustion can stop immediately. Class B2: combustible building material: Combustible materials have good effect of flame resistance. In case of open fire in the air or at high temperature, it will immediately burst into flames and spread the fire quickly, such as wooden column, timber roof truss, wooden stairs, etc. Class B3: flammable building material: No flame-retardant effect, highly flammable, high risk of fire. 2, According to fire rating, external wall thermal insulation materials can be divided into 1) thermal insulation material with class A combustion performance. Rock wool, glass wool, foam glass, foamed ceramics, foam cement, hole-closed perlite, etc. 2) thermal insulation material with class B1 combustion performance: Extruded polystyrene board (XPS) after special treatment /polyurethane (PU) after special treatment , phenolic aldehyde, gelatine powder polyphenyl granule, etc. 3) thermal insulation material with class B2 combustion performance: Molding polystyrene board (EPS), extruded polystyrene board (XPS), polyurethane (PU), polyethylene (PE), etc.
Q:What are the main components of refractory cement?
SiO powder is often used. Ultra-fine powder refers to less than 1 / zm particles which are made by hydrolysis of ethyl silicate or made from recycled dust in the smelting process of ferro-silicon alloy. Non-cement castable refractory are castable refractory material which contains no cement instead it relies on the coagulation and combination by adding ultra-fine powder or sol (see refractory castable), and it is an amorphous material with high activity. Silica sol is made through Ion-exchange of sodium silicate after Na ions are removed. The easiest method is to prepare by reaction of aluminum metal with hydrochloric acid or alchlor. It is a thermodynamically unstable system which has certain requirements for ultra-fine powder and sol. It is different from non-cement refractory castable, Cr2zrOz and etc. It has low impurity content, and can bond with itself, so it has good binding strength. Ultrafine powder used in non-cement castables are SiO2, Al2O3, Cr2zrOz, etc. Such recycled SiO2 powder has an average particle diameter of 0.5 pm, therefore when adding the gelling agent (electrolyte), it can coagulate and give the products some bonding strength. Non-cement castable refractory is made up of refractory aggregate and powder and it is round. Since the use of superfine powder or sol as binder. The size of sol particles are of 0.1 ~ 1 m. Non-cement refractory castable takes oxide or synthetic compound ultra-fine powder or oxide sol-gel which is similar to the chemical composition of material in tungsten castable. There are several ways to prepare alumina sol. The sol used are mainly alumina oxide and silica sol. The surface area is large, and it helps to improve high-temperature structural strength. Non-cement castable refractories rely on oxide ultra-fine powder or sol to coagulate and combinate. It is a refractory castable (also known as chemical bonding castable) which uses chemical binder instead of cement for combination.
