- I am not aware of a title for this type equipment. Normally you keep a copy of the machines serial numbers and bill of sale.

Plus many sell on Craig's List or yard sales. And you could wash well. So my suggestion is to get a pasta machine and make your own. It literally makes it in minutes, and then you know what exactly is in it. Plus I've made some amazingly yummy specialty flavored pasta, like lemon and dill or lemon and sage for serving with fish and so on. Plus you can make extra while you are doing it and freeze some. So then your fresh pasta will always be on hand (and fresh cooks up in just a few minutes...usually 3-4! BTW I find if you freeze it, you'll get the best results by thawing then cooking, and that doesn't take long either! Just let it sit out for about 15 minutes. Something for you to consider!

- I grew up in the same situation and always was called a laborer even though I was doing some welding and learning the art of fabrication. I am not sure of the law but I say if you are interested in doing it, start as soon as you can and listen to as much knowledge as you can.
