Q:A certain piece of machinery depreciates from 9600 to 8160 in one year. What percent decrease is it?
You have a machine that depreciates from $9600 to $8160 in one year, this can be represented by: Original price - original price*percentage decrease = depreciated amount which is: 9600 - 9600x = 8160 Subtract 9600 from both sides: -9600x = -1440 Divive by -9600: x = 1440/9600 = 0.15 Convert to percentage: 0.15*100 = 15% The machine depreciates by 15% in one year.
Q:The Tom Smith Corporation has the following items: Cash, $5,000; Machinery, $50,000; Building, $150,000; Note payable bank, $10,000; Savings, $10,000; Long term debt, $50,000; Accounts payable, $30,000; Taxes payable, $5,000; Accounts receivable, $30,000; Inventory, $10,000; Depreciation Building, $35,000; Depreciation Machinery, $25,000; Land $50,000. Total assets for this Corporation are what?A. $55,000B. $95,000C. $155,000D. $190,000E. $245,000
Cash, $5,000 Machinery, $50,000 Building, $150,000 Savings, $10,000 Accounts receivable, $30,000 Inventory, $10,000 Land $50,000 - Depreciation Building, $35,000; - Depreciation Machinery, $25,000; = (E) $245,000
Q:What are the business scope of machinery and equipment enterprises?
Packing machinery: packing machine, packing machine, conveyor, etc.. Environmental protection machinery: water pollution control equipment, air pollution control equipment, solid waste treatment equipment. Other machinery.
Q:Do all hydraulic systems use oil? Or do only some? Please give a list. Thanks.
a hydraulic system can use any fluid ... you need to worry about temperature raised within the fluid during operation, and how to dissipate. Also, large pressure changes could cause the fluid to evaporate
Q:Where can I buy heavy machinery like a really big excavator in Australia?
You okorder they have a fair range of excavators
Q:Like a Ford 8N tractor, and an old hay rake. The seat is on a hinge, and the farmers (men) always leave the seat up.Do men have some kind of primordial urge to leave seats up? Why did they even make the seats on a hinge? Probably designed by a man.Isn't this the most sexist thing you ever heard?
NO just to keep the seat clean from bird poop.
Q:What weapon or machinery in world war 1 do you think gave the most advantage to a country? ( any country) Why?
WWI is a good example of a what war would be like where no one has an advantage. Just years and years of stalemate and slaughter. Artillery killed more people than any other weapon in that war.
Q:We found this little shed right outside Virginia City, NV.Inside was this old machinery.. it was probably used for mining.
Yep, it looks like a winch to me too. I see a second drum, so perhaps it was a winch that could pull a cable in two directions, with the cable looped around a pulley at some distant point and being wound onto one of the drums as it is unwound from the other. (hard to see the gearing, etc., from that image). As for age, that electric motor looks like it's about 100 years old! (just a wild guess, of course)
Q:Thank you in advance.(^^ゞ
In the future, I want to be engaged in the field of machinery.
Q:BQ: is my Laptop considered Heavy Machinery?
I have and I dont I dont think a laptop is what there talking about..lol
