Double and full are the same.... 54 inches wide. The next up is Queen size at 60 inches wide and King is 78 inches. A california king is 78 inches wide. Hope this helps you solve your dilemma... get the feeling you're thinking about sheets...

Q:Hey everyone. My daughter turned 2 in September, and she's been having some sleeping issues. She has always slept in her own crib, but lately she doesn't want to sleep in it. She would rather sleep on our couch! LOL It makes me think she is ready for a change. So my husband and I were thinking about getting her a Disney Princess Toddler Bed for Christmas. I showed it to her, and she loved it. I think this will be the best decision for her since she is so petite, and I really don't think she is quite ready for a twin bed. Also, where we are currently living, her room is kinda on the small side. But I have a lot of people telling me it's pointless to buy a toddler bed since in a few years she will need a twin. I think it's best to get her a smaller bed for now and try to get her back to sleeping good in her room and then later on get a twin bed. What do you think? Thanks is advance for all of your help!! While cost wise it is more efficient, a toddler bed is a great choice. It is still the size of a crib and ives her the feeling of security. We tried putting our son right into a twin, and because it was so big, it caused him stress. Sometimes kids like the feeling of smaller areas. Even at 2 anything that can slightly remind them of the womb is comforting. It's all subconscious. The bigger open space can sometimes be not so comforting. It depends really on the child. My daughter is the same way as my son and we just turned her crib into a toddler bed, whereas my friends daughter went right to a twin with no problems. This is what our OT for our son told us.

Yeah. When I was four, I fell out of the top bunk bed on my back and head. Amazingly, I didn't even cry. I just got back into bed and fell asleep.

I have 3 girls ages 5, 4, and 2 (and a 4 month old son) and the 4 and 2 year old share a full size bed, we have a railing on the 2 year old's side. Let me tell you, it is the cutest thing with their two little heads together sleeping!! How old are your daughters now, 2? I would skip the toddler beds, we tried that for the 2 year old but she wanted to just sleep with her sister anyway. **TO add: The full size bed we have is the bottom of a twin over full bunk bed but we are not using the top bunk yet for it since my girls are too young I think-in the future we will use the top bunk above the full or we can separate the two beds and have one full bed and one twin size bed, but we do not have the bedroom space for that at this time. We have a four bedroom house but the 3 children's rooms are all 10x10 feet only-no room for even two twin beds in one room and we have 4 children. So a twin over full size bunk bed is another option for you.

Q:I'm always afraid to sleep in my OWN bed now !Idk if these are bed bugs, but i lifted my covers up, and there were these 2 black tiny bugs.. I dont think they were ticks, bc these were smaller than a tick..... But i've also seen one crawl on my pillow. My mom has cleaned my sheets .. but i'm still afraid !!! Are you getting bitten at night? Do you wake up with bites? If you don't then they probably weren't bed bugs. Bed bugs bite people.
