Q:Friction generates and causes wear in machinery, yet friction is often needed.please explain?
friction, resistance offered to the movement of one body past another body with which it is in contact. In certain situations friction is desired. Without friction the wheels of a locomotive could not “grip” the rails nor could power be transmitted by belts. On the other hand, in the moving parts of machines a minimum of friction is desired; an excess of friction produces heat, which in turn causes expansion, the locking of the moving parts, and a consequent breakdown of the machinery. Lubrication is important in minimizing friction as are also such devices as ball and roller bearings.
Q:What are the basic machinery to produce many corndogs?
Thicken your regular cornbread recipe by adding the liquid (usually milk or buttermilk) to the rest of the ingredients a little at a time until you have a thick pancake batter consistency. Pour it into a tall drinking glass. Heat a pot of oil to about 375°F. Skewer your favorite, juicy beefy hot dog with a disposable wooden chopstick, pat it dry then dip it into the drinking glass, turning to coat completely. Immediately place battered dog into the hot oil, turning as necessary to brown all sides evenly. It will only take a few minutes for the corn bread to cook and brown, remove and drain on paper towels.
Q:Who provides GM, Ford, and Chrysler with their machinery?
First, get a list of every major machine manufacturer outside the United States and Canada and find those which specialize in automation. Then do the same for every machine manufacturer in the United States and Canada starting with multiple operation machines, plastic extrusion and metal presses, forming and turning equipment, conveyor delivery systems and you have a start. The public library may have such listings .
Q:Of which do you partake most frequently? Killing, destroying, or wrecking machinery?
I love to destroy .......in preparing to remodel houses.......tearing down walls...cutting out plumbing. Ripping out concrete with a jack hammer. This is a very good hobby for a person on the destructive side.
Q:Classification of materials in machinery industry
Belonging to inorganic materials are refractory, ceramics, abrasives, carbon and graphite materials, asbestos and other organic materials; it is wood, leather, adhesive and synthetic polymer materials, synthetic rubber, synthetic resin, synthetic fiber etc.; the reinforced composite material composed of resin matrix with non metallic fiber.
Q:What piece of vintage machinery do you still use.?
A hammer.
Q:Machinery does revolt and vs. biological life?
Haven't you sobered up yet? If you have a real question please wait for the aspirin to take effect before asking it.
Q:Outdoor Recreation Disabled Machinery?
hi there S O S, in a clearing close to your car made from bright clothing or logs around 5 feet in height, a signal mirror,or flash light, SOS is dot,dot dot dash dash dash dot dot dot. a smokey fire to direct overhead rescue, to your position. good luck.
Q:how has the heavy machinery industry changed over the last couple of years?
I just got out of that line of work... grade construction, actually. The biggest thing I've noticed... you remember all the immigrants who came over here and started work as laborers or doing the dirty work? Well those guys pretty much run all the machines now. I'm not trying to sound racist, but the problem there is that they're willing to work for far less money than a lifelong U.S. citizen. That makes companies not want to hire as many of us. Why would they? They're saving money.
Q:What's the correct pronoun for Machinery?
It depends on how you are using machinery. If you are referring to the works inside a single unit: I repaired it. If you are referring to an entire floor of machines that needed attention: I repaired them.
