Q:How to distinguish the fire resistant level of the rubber and plastic thermal insulation material?
Level A of non-combustible insulation materials are: W W inorganic active wall insulation materials, cement foam insulation board, glass beads of insulation mortar, rock wool board, glass wool board and foam ceramics, ect. Th e level A is non-combustible material, characterized with low density, low thermal conductivity, high bearing capacity, convenient construction, economy and durablity, and widely used as the thermal insulation materials in hot pipes, thermal equipment and other pipe-line equipment and industrial architectures, and as the thermal insulation, heat insulation and sound-absorbing materials in industrial and civil building envelope. Because of its good thermal stability, it is more used as fire-resistant protective coating material of steel structure.
Q:Is it normal for caable fire resistant material to catch on fire?
Abnormal; aging is certainly one of the cause of the fire. That is caused only because of poor insulation and aging caused by short circuit, but a more important reason is configuration of air switch does not meet the requirements. If the capacity of air switch equals that of the cable, trip will happen at the moment when current is overloaded, not causing a short circuit or over current fire.
Q:Can refractory be used as sealing element?
The sealing element can resist the high temperature of 1200 degree.
Q:As for fireproofing material rock wool and glass wool, which one is better?
First of all, glass wool and rock wool fireproof materials, rock wool and glass wool belong to Class A fireproofing rating, secondly, rock wool can endure high temperature of 800 degrees, glass wool high temperature of 450 degrees, again,unit weight of rock wool is relatively heavier and unit weight of glass wool is lighter, finally, glass wool has better waterproof performance.
Q:What are included in wall fireproofing material?
Wall fireproofing materials include dry wall and gypsum block. Dry wall is made into board material through process by using building plaster as main material, adding an appropriate amount of additive and fiber to make board core and using tailor-made board paper as protection surface. Dry wall ia characterized by light weight, sound insulation, heat insulation, strong processing performance and easy construction method. Gupsum block is lightweight building plaster product made by using building plaster as main raw material, adding water, stirring, moulding by casting and drying. Fiber reinforced material or lightweight aggregate are allowed to add during the production and foaming agent can also be added. It is soundproof, fireproof, convenient to construct and many other advantages. It is a kind of new wall material with low carbon, environmental protection, health and in line with the development requirements of the times.
