Q:I heard or read an interview with Iggy Pop once, and in it he said he would go around to different factories and shops in the Detroit area to listen to the sounds the machinery and equipment made, and then use those sounds to influence his music.
Nine Inch Nails helped popularize industrial rock by introducing conentional song structures to it(I like Reznor, just clarifying)-I wouldn't call them 'typical' examples of industrial music.Industrial rock can be traced back to early pioneers electro pop/experimental Kraftwerk to aaggressive noise like Throbbing Gristle and avant garde sounds like Cabaret Voltaire.
Q:There was an ozone storm and a mean looking green clown face truck involved. I think Lou diamond Phillips was in this movie. The humans ended up in a truck stop and all the trucks were circling the truck stop trying to get at the humans inside.
Stephen Kings Maximum Overdrive
Q:if the company introduces new machinery and reduces its direct labour, how is the break even point affected?
It will be affected relative to the cost difference between the machine and labor . If the cost of the machine is more than labour in the short term it will be higher if not then lower . You should be able to calculate a realistic break even point for when the machine is paid off , obviously you need to take into account running costs and maintenance and whether or not they will exceed your existing labour costs . Cheers
Q:And if not, what methods do they use to harvest crops? Please state your reference. Thanks
Yes. okorder
Q:Capital resources include buildings and machinery. true or false?
True and false, depends on your business and what you need to perform business. If you have a farm your capital resources would be your barn, silo and thresher. These same resources would not be same for a trucker whose resources would be a truck, trucker log and fuel. It really depends on what you need to do business.
Q:How many types of casting machinery?
www.okorder This article may help you find the answer
Q:Where can I buy heavy machinery like a really big excavator in Australia?
You okorder they have a fair range of excavators
Q:please suggest the machinery name cost involve to set up a small scale fruit juice processing factory which production capacity is 2 ton per day?
Very okorder / ... I googled commercial juice processing equipment
Q:The machinery will be depreciated over ten years using the double-declining balance method. If depreciation is computed on the basis of the nearest full month, Foley should record depreciation expense for 2007 on this machinery of $20,800. $20,400. $20,550. $20,933.
Assume the machine useful life is 10 years Double-declining-balance method Rate: Double of straight-line rate 100%/10=10% x 2 =20% Depreciation Expense: Year 2006: $120,000 x 20% =$24,000 (whole year) $24,000/12=$2,000 (every month) There are only 8 months (May-Dec.) $2,000 x 8 = $16,000 Year 2007: ($120,000-16,000) x 20% = $20,800 Unlike the other depreciation methods, salvage value is ignored in determining the amount to which the declining balance rate is applied. Depreciationn stops when the asset's book value equals expected salvage value.
Q:It's subject is World World I and the Roaring 20's.
My copy of Industrial Psychology by Tiffin and McCormick (1965) refers to the industrial revolution as a major change in the nature of human work . . . functions that were formerly carried out by hand with the use of hand tools became mechanized. The jobs created from this process involved the operation and maintenance of the machinery. Automation has continued this process so that many machine operation functions are computer controlled. A good example of this is the automated machine shop where the machine operator will enter a program rather than directly adjust the machining operations. The term that best fits your request is mechanization. Best wishes.
