Q:are Henry Hound vacuum cleaners any good for getting dog hairs out of carpets?
I do not know about the Henry Hound but the DYSON Animal is great. I think it could suck the paint off the wall if I left it there long enough.
Q:Washing MachinesVacuum CleanersDishwashersDryersElectric IronsHand held hair dryers
Idon't know when they came about but, washing machine... my mom washed our clothes in an old wringer washer .No spin cycle.Vacuum ...old canister style, where you would empty the bag and use it over.Dishwasher... your own two hands... Dryers...clothes lines, or in the winter a wooden drying rack. Electric Iron, yes,but....mom sprinkled clothes down with water then ironed, no steam irons then.Hand held hair dryers....I was held upside down over a floor heating vent then a cap was placed over your head that had a warm air hose attached to it. Salones had big hood hair dryers.
Q:Here is the thing I know ALL dry vacuums (bag or filtered) loose air flow and never loose suction. What I noticed with dyson is, the quot;never loose suctionis more a copy right than technology patent. Why any vacuum company cannot claim no lose off air flow? Which what does the cleaning, not suction. the little shark vacuum (shaped like a football) never looses suction too. So can you show me a vacuum that looses suction?
Yup it's nothing but a gimmick Dysons lose airflow much faster than some of my bagged vacuums but as for losing actual suction...i suppose an abused rainbow could in theory if it's not emptied properly you could have a build up in the fans causing a loss of suction but that's only if it's not taken care of
Q:Can I use my vacuum cleaner to suck up the excess co2 in the air?
no, because it will just exit the vaccum since it is not air tight. also, air is mixed with co2 and you wouldn't be able to separate the two.
Q:I need to buy a vacuum but I don't know what one I should get! Some help please? It needs to be able to go from carpet to hardwood. Actual Hardwood. And I would rather have bag less then bagged.Any suggestions?
Kirby is good and lasts forever, but uses a bag Rainbow is awesome, it vacuums into water, so you just dump it down the drain. I hear the cyclone ones aren't all they're cracked up to be.
Q:It sounds a bit odd but I'm dead serious. Whenever I look at my vacuum I have a bizarre urge to make love to it. But the other day when I tried it really hurt when it suctioned my dick so I kind of want to stop, but for some reason no matter what I do my vacuum won't look any less sexy. What should I do?
They say it beats as it sweeps as it cleans perhaps that is what turns you on
Q:Hi, I'm looking for an answer from someone who subscribes to consumer reports magazine. When was their last article on vacuum cleaners published? I'm looking for a comprehensive review of vacuums, not one article on a specific model. Thanks for the help
Pop into your local library and see if they have the 2010 Buying Guide that Consumer Reports puts out. That's the last one I remember seeing. However, I will warn you, I was disappointed. They rated Hoover very high and after having two of them and nothing but trouble with no results from Hoover, I went to a Bissell Healthy Home. Now happy as a clam with my vacuum.
Q:He chases lawnmowers, but when the vacuum is on, he runs for it.
Vacuums are spawns of Satan.
Q:Are Kirby vacuum cleaners worth it?
They are absolutely worth it if you own your house and care about cleanliness, and the life of your floor covering. I have done side by side tests using many many different vacuums, including dyson, electrolux, oreck, rainbow, and all the junk ones you can buy at department stores...using test pads. the only vacuum that even came close in value was a central vac. other than that, kirby is by far the best IF you can afford one.
Q:Does dog hair ruin vacuum cleaners? And if so, what do you recommend for pet hair control?
It doesn't ruin your vacuum, except for maybe over use. Make sure, after every time you use it that hair balls aren't stuck in the wand or in the brushes. If your vacuum is the bagless variety, clean out the canister after each use.. The Dyson brand vacuum is supposed to be one of the best but really expensive. You basically have to vacuum everyday. I've seen these like magnetic brooms demonstrated at dog shows that seem to really pick up the hair- sorry I don't know what they are officially called or where you get them. I hope someone has a better answer because with 3 dogs and a cat there's a lot of hair in my house...
