Q:So i bought a 1990 Honda Accord. The steering wheel is off to the right. So when im going straight the steering wheel is quite a bit to the right. It is not an alignment because i let go of the wheel and the car goes straight ahead. I need a free solution i can do myself. My father says i can take off the steering wheel(without a wheel puller) and put it back on straight and that should solve the problem. What do you guys think
it is obvious it is alignment that model is front wheel drive so it would be hard to tell if it was out of align you should check your tires to see if there is wear on the inside usually
Q:New Altima has alloy wheels as part of package what is the point of alloy wheels?
Alloy wheels are automobile (car, motorcycle and truck) wheels which are made from an alloy of aluminum or magnesium metals (or sometimes a mixture of both). Alloy wheels differ from normal steel wheels because of their lighter weight, which improves the steering and the speed of the car, however some alloy wheels are heavier than the equivalent size steel wheel. Alloy wheels are also better heat conductors than steel wheels, improving heat dissipation from the brakes, which reduces the chance of brake failure in more demanding driving conditions. Alloy wheels are also considered more visually attractive than hubcaps.[weasel words] Alloy wheels are more expensive than standard wheels, and thus even though they are becoming more available and are standard on higher-priced models, they are not standard on many cars. Alloy wheels are prone to Galvanic corrosion if appropriate preventive measures are not taken.
Q:Lyrics to Static Majors - Ride Till The Wheels Fall Off
Kelis - Till The Wheels Fall Off Lyrics [Verse 1] I'm traveling off the cliff just to fall in love with you (I'm serious, i'm serious) And we ain't got no plans on coming back soon, yeah (I'm serious, i'm serious) I got my bags packed just to hit the road with you, cause (I'm serious, yeah, i'm serious) And when it gets bumpy I'll be rollin' with you, cause (I'm serious, yeah, hey baby) [Chorus] Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off [Bridge] Oh baby, I'm runnin' on metal plates Oh baby, I'm never gonna walk away Even though we runnin' on metal plates Oh baby, I'm runnin' on metal plates [Verse 2] My tank is all empty, but my heart is filled with fuel (I'm serious, oh, i'm serious) I never run from nothing, but I'm running straight to you (I'm serious, i'm serious) And I don't have no plans on coming back soon (I'm serious, i'm serious) I know you scared, but they're coming on soon (It's serious, oh, serious) [Chorus] Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off [Bridge] Oh baby, I'm running on metal plates Oh baby, someday we'll see better days Oh, we'll be running on metal plates Oh, we'll be running on metal plates [Verse 3] Ridin' shot gun baby Keep on through Emergency break off, pedal to the floor We gonna move Movin' fast hit the gas, crash We gonna move And remember the wheels fall off Carry me through [Chorus] Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off Till them wheels fall off
Q:So what is the formula for calculating the speed of a wheel using height, circumference, radius, ect.Heres an example:The height of the wheel is 77mm using this how can i find the speed of the wheel? Also how does Width of a wheel affect the speed? How does Width affect the turning?THANKS
If you know the height (the diameter), then obtain the circumference using c pi*d 241.9 mm. (Remember to account for the tire in the height measurement.) For each revolution of the wheel, the wheel moves forward (or backward) 241.9 mm. So if the wheel is making 100 RPM, it is moving at 24190 mm/min, or 0.4 m/s (or 1.45 km/h). The width of the wheel does NOT affect this, BUT wider wheels tend to have higher profile tires (see my comment above about the tire and height measurement). Also, the width of the wheel does not significantly affect the maneuverability except that it adds to the friction required to turn the wheel (a larger contact patch will resist turning more than a smaller contact patch). The main difference that the width of the tire has is in traction and rolling resistance: a wider tire offers far greater traction, but since the pressure is generally lower to maintain a decent contact patch, the rolling risistance is higher. A narrow tire offers much less resistance, but also provides much less traction. On cars, wider tires are used for higher traction uses. On bicycles, wider tires are generally used to provide a softer ride (the tire needs less pressure as its width offers a larger contact patch for the lower pressure to act over).
Q:Saw the National Day parade special program and found that both before and now, military vehicles (including chariots) have a white circle on the wheels, which is why?
Force combat vehicle wheels are coated with talcum powder maintenance, the most important role is to prevent tire aging.
Q:Ok, I‘m a bike newbie and need help on replacing my bike wheel. My road bike currently have 26‘‘x1.95 wheel with mountain bike tires. I really want to switch them to road bike wheels that are 27‘‘. My question is will the a 27‘‘ wheel fit into my bike. Pretty sure my bike should be around 56cm-58cm (I‘m 5‘8 but when on it I have to tippy toe). So would replacing my wheel with 27‘‘ wheels fit my bike? Thanks in advance
no 27 is WAY bigger many other reasons that won;t work wle
Q:I HAVE A 1997 SRAD WILL BUSA WHEELS FIT ON IT
Just remember to pump your brakes if you have to make a quick stop, other wise they will lock up, and you don't want that.
Q:Give you four words, can you write a wonderful story? Flower pots, screens, wheels, rings
Classmate you are learning director of it
Q:I bought a skateboard and it says on the box the wheels are size 54/36 And i want to replace the wheels. Well, I go online to look at better wheels and i see the different sizes. Such as 55mm, 58mm, 50mm etc, And the closest size i see to the listed size on my board is 54/100A. Is this the right size? Remember that the box only says 54/36 not 54/36mm or 54/36A. Please help!
They are 54mm.that's it, you can pretty much have ANY wheels size you wants as long as it'll fit under your board. If you have to low of trucks an dto big of wheel you'll get wheel bite(wheels rubbing the bottom of the deck). Wheels really depend on what type of skateing you want to do. For mostly street skating not so much park you'll want 52mm-55mm, and you'll want them to be a softer wheel. soft wheels grip better to all types of terrain, hard wheels slide better and don't grip to well. Good for park or vert. The bigger the wheel the faster it'll roll. You also want a mid size wheel like 52-55 for street because they won't stop on rocks or cracks making you fall down they'll roll better over them. I like 53mm wheels the best, never had any problems with them and my style of skating is mostly street. I would never get a wheel under 52mm for any style of skating just because it's not really needed.lots of people will say you'll be able to flip a skateboard better for tricks with a small wheel.not true. you'll flip a skateboard better with practice, don't blame the equipment for bad tricks. I started out on old school decks that where super wide and super heavy and did just fine. The 100A is a hard wheel, the higher the number the harder the wheel the lower the number the softer it is, so like say you find a 54mm that says 54/80A that's a pretty good wheel for street, stay in the 80's up to mid 90's. Especially if you're just starting out the better the grip you have the best you'll learn.
Q:i am looking for sporty car that can be 4 wheel drive4 doors hopefully
If you're looking for a true four-wheel drive car, about the best and only mass-production model is Audi with their Quattro. Most other makes and models only offer single-axle or all-wheel drive which is very different from four-wheel drive. The closest any other maker offers to an all-wheel drive system that mimics four-wheel would be SAAB's XWD (cross-wheel drive). Many other makers do offer 4WD, but typically on their trucks and SUVs, not their passenger sedans or coupes. Audi is one of the few to propagate true 4WD across its entire passenger vehicle fleet. And whether you choose their TT coupe or A series vehicles, they're all plenty sporty at a reasonable price. Best of luck. I hope this helps.
