FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q:I bought a SDHC (Security Disk with High Capacity) of 4GB for my Nintendo DSi, but when I plugged it Windows did nothing. I went to My Computer and chosed the SD card reader driver but it froze my computer, I unplugged the card and it unfroze. I have tried to install the 3 hotfixes for that but all say this:The Installation program detected that the Service Pack version of the sistem is more recent than this update. It is not necessary to install this update.Even if I have a Windows XP Proffessional with Service Pack 3 system, my SD card reader does not read my SDHCcard. Is there a way to fix this? If so, please answer!
Your card reader has to support SDHC. It probably doesn't.
Q:how much does it cost:$:$:$@ wal marthow do i use it to transfer pics from my camera to my laptop? not a technology-wise person:(
a card reader is basically a small device that plugs directly in your USB port, or through a USB cable. Some are made to read one type of card, some are made to read many different types of cards. all you do is plug in your card reader into your laptop, and then plug in your memory card into the card reader. It should work without any software. anyway, you can get a card reader for about $10
Q:I am using a TransFlash 2.0 USB. I plug it in to the acer laptop and put the SD card into it, but the light doesn't come on. Why is this so?
try it on other usb ports and if possible on different pc. if it is in warranty get it replaced or repaired. BTW the card reader come very cheap you can get a new one any time, if every thing fails give it a try.
Q:i just got a card reader for the sd chip in my camera. whenever i put the usb in the usb port it doesn't read it as a device on the desktop(mac book)does anyone know how to access the card reader so i can upload someone of my pictures to my comp?
If you are using Windows on your MacBook, submit a new question and mention the version of Windows. For OS X, read on Put the card back in the camera. Open Image Capture. It should say No Image Capture device connected. Connect the camera and turn it on. That solves the question of how to download the pictures from the camera to your hard drive. How to make the card reader work is another matter. Could be either a defective reader, a defective USB cord (if it uses a cord), a current overload for the USB connection, or the slot in the reader is not correct. There are at least ten different slots possible on a card reader, although most have from four to seven slots. That means you don't have every slot possible.
Q:I have a lot of usb cords, but it looks like I need to get one specifically for this camera. Any help would be appreciated.
You have several options to solve this problem. First you could go to a electronics store (best buy) etc and ask for a compatible usb cord or firewire for your cybershot camera. since i don't know what type of cybershot it is, i don't know the exact cord. But it should take a 5 or 4 pin usb connector. Should be around 10-15 dollars. You could by an external memory card reader for your pc. This would cost 20-30 dollars but you also would have extra slots for more options using other memory cards too. Or you could simply find another sony product which can connect your memory card to pc with a normal usb 2.0 cord. i.e ( psp, another camera, sony laptop etc.) OR you could find that cord that came with your camera. hope this helps.
Q:I am hoping to download Wii game save files to an SD card. My computer does not have a port for SD, from what I understand can a basic USB SD reader such as one that you can buy on OKorder for $5.00 work to allow me to download things onto a SD card when it is plugged into the computer through the USB? It seems like it should be more complicated/expensive.
Yes. It will work exactly like that. You're putting the card into the USB adapterIf you can get one that cheap, than you're in luck because at most places like Furture Shop, Radio Shack ((the Source by Circuit City in Canada)) they can get up to almost 50 bucks ((thats a multiple card reader)). Its a lot like burning a burning CDs. Put the files on it, and move on.
Q:What are the classification of the card reader?
USB reader is currently on the market the most popular card reader, PCMICA card reader is the most important application on the laptop,
Q:I don't wanna buy a card reader just so i can get my photos on my comp, how do i put them on w/o it??
Didn't your camera come with some sort of cord to connect it to the computer? Try that, if it doesn't work then there should also be some software/drivers that came with the camera. Honestly you can get one of those 1 in 12 (maybe even more) card readers on amazon for like $8. That's a guess, but last time I checked (ages ago) they were like $15.
Q:Why does the USB charger charge?
The other loop (responsible for charging) may not be energized!
Q:I used to have a Jessops Universal Card Reader and with that I was able to upload my pictures from my Olympus FE-220 Digital Camera. I have now lost it, but found out about a Jessops Smart Media Card Reader. Please can anyone tell me how it works? Is it the same as a Universal Card Reader? With that, all I had to do was put in the memory card from my camera and then connect it to my computer with a USB wire. Is this how it works? Thank you in advance
Sorry, but I'm not quite clear on your question as you seem to answer it yourself. If you have the card, then you need the reader. If you don't have a reader, you have to buy one. If you have to buy one, then look on the label and see if it is MAC OSX compatible - not greater than 10.4.11. As an fyi, these are mostly generic drives, I don't see a reason why any of these wouldn't work - even those that don't specifically say MAC OSX compatible.
