- Hmm..I guess it is, because when I was in Dubai two summers ago, the beauty section for women were a majority of face lightening products, or skin lightening products. - There must be heat for infrared radiation. Technically, that is not light. Hot enough it does become visible at the edge of visible light. For a planet to do that, it is on the edge of being a star, albeit a dim brown dwarf at first. If Jupiter was three times its mass, it would be a dim star. As it is now, it is too small to generate the nuclear reactions with gravity. To produce visible light requires a chemical/intense heat(lamp) or thermodynamic nuclear reactions that create photons. Burning hydrogen (are helium} will do it like our sun does. So if you define light as only visible light, as most physics courses do, the answer is no, moons and planets only reflect the sun's light for us to see them.

- hi There are many reasons why people have light sensitivity, the medical name for this is photohobia, a condition where the eyes are sensitive to light, possibly causing pain, tearing and much discomfort. when light enters the eyes it caudes a chemical reactiom in the back of the eye rids and cones, which allows us to adapt ro different light and dark. The light sesitvity is the result of rods and cones not recovering efficiently. there are various reasons behind light sensitivity, and mainly common in light coloured eyes. it can also be caused by deficiency of beta corotene and lutien basically diabetic, thyroid condition, certain antibiotics, anthihistamines, blood pressure medications, it could also be caused by eye trouble. Like retinitis pigmentosa. i strongly recommend that you book an eye test to evaluate your eyes health. I have recently my self been diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, which is hererdiatary, and effects the retina in the eyes its a slow blindness and common symthoms are light sensitvity, unable to focus in the dark headaches eye pain. I have to now wear tinted prescription varifocal glasses. Im talking from expreince. Best to get your self checked out at the optician better safe than sorry. Good luck i hope this has helped you.

- Because fireworks contains various chemicals that give off different colors of light when ignited. Because tungsten is heated in a vacuum using direct electricity, and doesn't involve an oxidation reaction (most if not all fireworks involve oxidation) it gives off white light.

- There are too many to mention. Professional photography depends on good lighting, regardless of the subject. of course, good lighting can mean different things to different people (for example, good portrait lighting may be different from good landscape lighting)
