Q: Farm machinery operates under very difficult situation in the field. For example, paddy fields are muddy with pesticide, fertilizer and other chemicals in which tractors containing steel and aluminum components operate. This results in corrosion of metallic component. Propose methodology for preventing corrosion in farm machinery.: For those parts which do not get heated up,apply coal tar,(Damar in Hindi),so that water can't come in contact with them.It will not wear off that easily. With those parts that get heated up,apply coconut oil,once in two or four days, depending upon machinery's use.Again clean with fresh water apply oil.In this way,both the metals are easily saved.
