- Q: I have a dinning room table that expands to 102 inches when the leaves are added. That length also means I have to spend a lot of money on a single table cloth! I think they call that banquet size. With fine linens, like everything else, costing so much these days, I really don't want Uncle Jim's red wine or Aunt Sara's coffee to totally ruin the table cloth if they spill. Not to mention, spills always seem to happen outside of a place mat.So is it really that uncool to put a non-shiny thin plastic...... something-or-other over the table cloth?
- Personally, I think putting a thin plastic over the top of a linen cloth defeats the purpose of having a nice linen cloth on there...you have the fine linen to enjoy it and feel it. Therefore, I say invest in some club soda and tide and hope for the best. Enjoy the linen as it is meant to be enjoyed, felt, and viewed.
- Q: What is the average cost of plastic sheets?
- The average cost of plastic sheets can vary depending on factors such as size, thickness, and quality. Generally, plastic sheets can range from around $1 to $20 per square foot.
- Q: Are plastic sheets resistant to warping or bending with heavy loads?
- Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to warping or bending with heavy loads. They are designed to be durable and have high structural integrity, allowing them to withstand heavy loads without deforming or bending.
- Q: How do I get the protective film for the kraft paper on the plastic board?
- The first plastic plate heat up (on the fire slightly roasted, not too close, too close to the fire on the deformation of the plastic plate; or on the radiator for a long time; of course, if in the summer on the outside of the sun on the line.
- Q: Are plastic sheets safe for children?
- Plastic sheets can be safe for children, as long as they are made from non-toxic materials and are used appropriately under adult supervision. It's important to ensure that the plastic sheets are free from harmful chemicals such as phthalates or lead, and that they are not a choking hazard. Additionally, proper care should be taken to avoid suffocation risks, such as ensuring the sheets are securely fastened and not covering a child's face.
- Q: Can plastic sheets be used for greenhouse construction?
- Yes, plastic sheets can be used for greenhouse construction. They are commonly used as greenhouse coverings due to their affordability, durability, and ability to allow sunlight to penetrate while retaining heat. Plastic sheets such as polyethylene or polycarbonate are often used to create a greenhouse structure, providing an ideal environment for plants to grow.
- Q: Are plastic sheets water-resistant?
- Yes, plastic sheets are generally water-resistant due to their impermeable nature, making them suitable for various applications where protection from water or moisture is required.
- Q: What is the effect of lining the bottom of your deep freezer with plastic sheets of material?
- I cannot think of any benefit to doing that unless the deep freezer has a bad seal and is constantly forming ice. As far as I can tell, the plastic sheet would only serve to contain the ice so that it is easier to clean the freezer. Naturally, you have to remove everything in the freezer in order to dump the ice off the plastic sheet, then put everything (including the plastic sheet) back in the freezer. I'm not an expert on this, but I think that your energy bill for the freezer would go up. Plastic doesn't really freeze at the temperatures you are talking about, so putting plastic sheets in a freezer just means that the freezer will have to draw that much more energy (as it tries to freeze plastic). A little Google research showed me that the 'line with plastic sheets' thing is a do-it-yourself measure to try to cover up the problem(s) with the original plastic liner of the freezer. It doesn't look like it works. Perhaps time to start budgeting for a new freezer.
- Q: Why is there a gap of 1 mm between the plastic mould, A plate and B plate? Is there a gap between the die and the die?
- The mold is certainly no gap between, otherwise there will be flash (Pi Feng), leaving a gap of 1 mm between A plate and B plate is to die between better together, which can avoid A, B plate and mold tight, not tight.
- Q: Can plastic sheets be used for DIY cutting boards?
- No, plastic sheets are not suitable for DIY cutting boards as they are prone to scratches and can harbor bacteria. It is recommended to use materials specifically designed for cutting boards, such as wood or food-grade plastic.
