Theslurry shield machine supports the working surface through mud pressure,digging the soil by cutter, transported by mud pump. The separated mud ispumped back to working surface, pressed into the cutter through cyclicrotation, so the tunnel surface forms during one time. It could control the stabilityof working surface easily, adapting well to different geological conditions, sothat its widely used in tunnel construction of high land groundwaterpressure, river bottom and submarine.

I do know of at least one U. S. exporter (cotton and textile fibers) that was asked if he could supply a reconditioned cotton gin. As far as I know there were no U.
