- Q: Taking iron supplements or eating foods that have iron in it, which one is better ?
- Seriously; you have to be VERY careful about iron supplements. Excess IRON in your body can be very dangerous. If you havent been diagnosed by a doctor (which I dont think you have or you wouldn't be asking this question) then my answer is simple. Cereal. 99% of cereal has added iron in it. We recently watched an experiment on tv where the guy used a clear pitcher of milk and added about a half a box of Cheerios. Then he stirred it around and took out the cereal and used a magnet and you could actually see the iron granuals!! it is really iron (as in steel) which blew me away. Anyways; see your doctor or keep it simple. Good Luck! :)
- Q: My 7 month old son is 90% breastfed 10% formula. I read that he needs 11mg of iron a day. I also read that it isn‘t in breastmilk, but he hates to eat cereal and I think that is his main source of iron. I have tried mixing it with fruits/veggies, gerber juice, water, and formula/breastmilk, and he still doesn‘t like it. Is there somewhere else he can get iron from?
- You could try poly-vi-sol baby vitamins or try introducing red meats. They are both a great source of iron.
- Q: The iron in harvest blend honey frosted corn wheat flakes with rolled oats granola clusters?
- Iron is needed to form hemoglobin. Iron is mostly stored in the body in the hemoglobin. About 30 percent of iron is also stored as ferritin and hemosiderin in the bone marrow, spleen, and liver.
- Q: Im an anemic with prenisious anema (anemia) and have trouble keeping my iron levels up my doctor has subscribed irion suppliments that sometimes act if though they don‘t work fast enough can i get some help on high iron foods to eat,.
- Galvanising is coating with zinc. Zinc and copper react with each other if the water passing through them is slightly acidic to produce a small electric current. The zinc gets taken off the iron, particularly with galvanised hot water cylinders, and produces a black sludge. The iron is no longer protected by the zinc (which was its original function) and rusts through. Use all copper, it's cheaper in the long run.

- people are behind the times when it comes to food processing that's why you should NOT eat any processed foods. do you understand why? have you heard of obesity? diabetes 2? ? how about arteriosclerosis? that's just 1/100th. of the symptons of eating crap. ever hear of a carrot? good lord people this is old news read the miracles of the atomic age already and no such thing as a vegan the truth is all processed foods ARE garbage eat it and no matter what you do to combat it. you are going to suffer results. eat right eat fresh produce and don't fall for that 'organic' scam either. there's more than pink stuff there's high fructose clear stuff blue stuff white stuff. dairy is full of crap also very inflammatory food. well they do say eat your damned veggies! wait until you hear what they put into animals while being raised for meat and other things. ta-dah!
- Q: if i have a stiff shaft for my driver, a Burner, then should i get irons with stiff shafts to?
- The flex of a shaft can be varied depending on the needs of the golfer. Stronger golfers tend to swing faster and therefore need a stiffer shaft to keep the club head from lagging too far behind. You can get a stiff graphite shaft. they make them in all sorts of flexes. I don't think anyone is suggesting you get it in steel. I'd see a club fitter if I were you. Any good golf pro can analyze your swing and tell you what degree of shaft flex you need. Good luck.
