Q:1) what does it involve?2) do you have to pay?3)do you keep your tariff?4) can you pick any phone or is there a selection to chose from?5) can you upgrade to a different network? On t-mobile uk thanks
1) Upgrading to a different phone 2) Well you change contract do depends if you have to buy the phone 3) you get a new one I think but keep your number 4) Well when you upgrade you have to get a phone that is more expensive that your current phone 5) no you have to upgrade through your network, if you're with t-mobile I think you can upgrade to EE, but if you want to go to like 3 or something you'll have to wait until your contract ends and cancel it, and get a new one with 3 for example.
Q:i am getting a new cell phone through t mobile sometime soon and i was wondering what you think the best one would be to get?
I have to say, I was very impressed by the G1 when I had occasion to train on it earlier this week. It's going to give the iPhone a run for its money. The Blackberry Storm would have provided competition except that it is 1) a CDMA phone and 2) for reasons passing understanding, has no wifi!!! The cost is going to be reasonable (about $35 a month for the data plan); I think a lot of people will like it.
Q:Hi, i have a motorola razrlt;-- the first one that came out and i remember getting that phone for 40 bucks because i told them that i was a long customer and stuff, but it was supposed to be $150 for upgrade. Now, it's been two years since i had the razr phone and i want to upgrade a new phone, like the motorola rizr and the motorola krzr, i was wondering did anyone talk to any of the t-mobile staff to get the cheaper upgrade for either one of those phones??
no, as a tmobile rep, you only qualify for what our system says you do. we do not negotiate prices on phones. most people go wrong by thinking this and call in pissed off but we do not offer credits to reduce the cost of phones. we offer rebates and a discount only if you are eligible.
Q:I wanna replace my current t-mobile phone with a used one that I can just take the sim card out and put it in the used one.
I've t-mobile phone if you like one.
Q:I was planning on buying a cell phone from t-mobile, the motorola cliq xt. i was gonna buy the phone with a 2 year contract since it's cheaper, but i noticed the cheapest plan is $39.99. I also noticed that once i click the plan, it brings me to a services page where it says required services are android and T-Mobile Android Unlimited Web. do i REALLY need the unlimited web plan or can i just buy the phone/39.99 plan? the unlimited web plan is $30 alone so it would cost 69.99/month. this is my first phone with an actual plan(currently mine is pre-paid), so i don't know much about them. thanks for any input!
i recommend staying with prepaid. with that said, yes, most of there phones require an unlimited data plan for 30 dollars. and it's not just t-mobile that requires it, verizon is the same way. i say it's just another way for phone companies to get more money. i have straight talk and i love it. it's prepaid and it runs on the verizon network so it has great service. for 30 dollars a month you get 1,000 minutes, 1,000 text/picture messages and 30 MB of data or for 45 dollars a month you get unlimited everything. there's no roaming fees. unlimited calls to 411 at no extra charge, where on other providers it could cost any where from 1.29 to 1.99 for a 411 call. but that's up to you. i have had service with verizon postpaid, t-mobile, tracfone, net10, straight talk, verizon prepaid, t-mobile prepaid, u.s. cellular postpaid and i have to say prepaid wins. contracts really suck. yes the phones are nicer, but unless you pay full retail for the phone and not sign a contract, i don't recommend going with a postpaid account. good luck deciding.
Q:i would like to know the useful ways of mobiles .
relies upon on the fellow. the position I stay (Adelaide), i do not see a large distinction between men and females even as it contains cellular utilization. countless the children I see in college seem to have their phones in college on facebook, toddler, and textual content one yet another from distinct school rooms (quite pathetic, for my area). I, a lady, hardly use my telephone, except even as i'm on college journeys, in which case I keep my telephone in my pocket, or maybe as on the prepare or bus I sit down on my lap in case my mom texts or calls.
Q:Hi! I have to write essay about: advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones.have u got any ideas of advantages and disadvantages ?p.s. English is my second language that's why it's a little difficult for me ;)
Yes.
Q:Assalamu alaikom sweet friends :-)i want to know if the use of mobile phones in Egypt differ from its use worldwide ??Do you think that we use it differently ?on a Social level, do you find that it caused a considerable change in the way people communicate.and is it positive or negative ??and please state, from your viewpoint, some advantages and disadvantages for its use .thaaaaaaaaanks in advance :-)

Q:Im flying overseas soon with thai air and want to bring my mobile phone on the plane to listen to music my phone has an offline mode on it will i be allowed to use it on the plane im flying with thai air?
yeah, but you cant make any calls. You have to disable the signal. If your phone has something called flight mode then you can use your phone to listen to music on the plane. just remember, all electronics must be turned off during take off and landing
Q:Forgive me for maybe being a little stupid but i assume that a sim free unlocked mobile phone is just a plain old handset that will accept any sim card?I currently have a phone with Tesco mobile on a PAYG tariff - i assume that if i bought a sim free unlocked phone, i could take my sim card from my current phone and put it into the new one and it would work just fine? ie. i'd keep my current number and i'd stay on my PAYG tariff?
Not any phone company. Different carriers use different systems. Like cdma and gsm.Sprint, Virizon, and alltell are services that use cdma, which is basically an internal built sim. Some carriers offer a flash service that enables you to use their carrier, however once flashed your phone will only be able to be with that carrier. ATT once activating your phone will block it from being used anywhere else.Hope this helps.
