- Yes, you got it right as did Ed. As sediment accumulates on a ocean bottom (for example) over time different sediments are deposited. Since it is roughly flat, it forms a planar surface. The bedding planes are the boundary between each plane (bed) of deposited sediment and as Ed pointed out, there is often a plane of weakness due something weaker that settled in one plane versus the others.

- Sears sells beds made by different manufacturers like Serta, Sealy, Corsicanna and Tempurpedic. The beds will be more expensive at Sears due to their overhead costs. Sam's Club sells Serta mattresses and box springs and are a whole lot cheaper than Sears. Compare prices by calling both stores and asking the cost of the bedding. I bought my Queen size mattress and box springs from Sam's Club for $700. They had a pillowtop on the mattress and I am very pleased with my purchase. Mattress Outlet is a great place to get an estimate.

- Q: i really like the high malm bed, but it only comes in black. the original malm bed is a little bit lower to the ground than the higher malm bed, but there's more color choices. is the lower malm bed too low to the ground? is it an awkward height? please just give me advice or a review on the malm bed. i'd really love to get it for my room.thanks
- The malm beds are really nice and I don't think that they are too low to the ground, but I understand if you don't want a bed that low because its kinda short. My bed was also too short for my likings so I just got a box frame to put under the mattress and that really added a lot of hight, so I'm sure you could do something like that. If you really want thet high one I would suggest not to paint it because they already come so nicely made, but I really don't know what you like. This is just my input, I hope I helped though!

- there is no radiation risk - the UV from the beds will not go any deeper than maybe 1 cm into your skin so there's really no danger there. The biggest problem is heat. The lamps in the tanning beds generate heat, which can possibly raise your temperature and cause some distress for the baby. On the other side, the Vitamin D hit you get from tanning will do you both some good and it's naturally occurring which means you can't OD as you might with supplements. All that said, it's always best to consult with your doctor and, if you DO hit the beds, keep the times short enough that you don't break a sweat. Plus: UV is UV, regardless of the source. If you go outside and get some sun, getting it from a controlled environment like a tanning bed is essentially the same thing
